Just got mine and his base and shade pinks almost do match up with my LO Fat Buu, as shown in the video. The real big difference is that they went really hard in the pink shading on this Super Buu so he appears more of the hot pink at first glance. Really like his sculpt, like I thought I would. Is he worth retail price, not quite but he does pop and looks great with the rest of the figures. On a side note, I do like his smaller box/packaging and wish they would do the plastic shells on more figures now since they are not cheap to buy...
At first, I wasn't so sure about the HOT PINK he is but depending on which version/scene of the anime you watch, this color is actually close to it. I guess you could just say he's powering up, though for the sake of consistency they should've tried and to keep the pinks the same... The head seam line makes no sense, even his bootleg doesn't have it and is all one piece. I'm still getting him though cause I really like his overall sculpt. Thanks for the comparisons 👍
@@rrmarty Ah yeah you're absolutely right about his height, he's suppose to be extremely tall. Kinda makes you miss the Masterlise Extra brand, but Bandai is already charging more for less so why even bother with size anymore...

Yup it sucks that prices went up this high..but since i wanted a buu figure so bad its better than getting the faz ex if youre on a tight budget

Same color doesnt bother me at all just the seam probably the height too but we all know masterlise always f up with scaling
