Great job Alex my prayers are with you I had the same injury, external fixator 11 surgeries and I was down for three years and could only sleep on my back. I've learned that life is short and each day is a blessing and remember to give God thanks everyday. And Alex may your fruit basket never becomes empty .......

@@itsbuzzer9864 yeah I get "he's back", but I really don't think he should be. That was a pretty gruesome injury and I can't believe the leg is 100% after all of that.
Fearful that if he takes another hit anywhere near as bad, he's going to be in a real bad place.
I hope he does well, just concerned about him pushing his luck a bit.

If you are jumpy and don’t like blood and gore, don’t watch the documentary. It shows his leg cut straight open, the infection on the outside, and the break in depth. I didn’t mind it to much but this is your warning. I advise you watch it if you don’t mind that stuff of you can skip past the stuff but it was a great documentary

Honestly post 2012 there way you could ever say Alex Smith is the worst or hate him. He is an amazing man with an amazing story. He deserves an amazing recovery and I would love to see him on a football team again. If he doesn’t play that’s fine I would just like to see him with a team

This news clip just goes to show you how much they can leave out or take out of context to make you believe what they want. If you had no idea who Alex Smith was before watching this, you would have thought all the hardship they just showed you was entirely due to the injury sustained on the field. They mentioned nothing about the staph infection, which is what caused everything they just told you about. It's a big piece of the story that they didn't even touch.

I almost died from a staph infection I got in 2008 it affected my entire right arm, it was very close to have taken it off for good and me along with it had I waited longer to visit the hospital it would have reached my nervous system. As is I'm very lucky to have made it, as is Alex Smiths story reminds me of mine, granted he suffered way worse than I did, but seeing his painful road to recovery really tears me up

He was scrambling and 25 had him around the waist, pulling him back and when Watt got there he ducked. When he ducked Watt was on his back, still going back he folded like a chair and his legs got caught under him. Watt is 6’5 288 pounds, him going full speed thats a lot of force and pressure.

Sucks? In 2017 he led the league in interception % at 1.0 and passer rating at 104.7. Before he was injured he led the redskins to 6-3. Now he may not be the same after the injury he wasn't bad and he'll probably just be used as a mentor from now on.
