I wouldve claimed the high beam spot lights from the car behind caused temporary blindness and I felt it wasn't safe to continue forward at that moment, putting on my breaks having them rear end me and them paying for all the damages. Probably needing a cop on scene so they can be fined too. Hahaha

3:56 it's funny how cyclists preach that sharing the roads is a must. however when following the law they are above it. I live near here and I see this a lot. even when a large group will pull into a service station and park their bikes where the pumps are rather than in designated parking spots. people have to wait for them to get their sports drinks or $2.00 coffees so they can refill their cars.

Just going to respond to this thread, this is me in the footage, I’m in the camera car. I was heading home from work doing 80kms in the right lane trying to pass the box tuck because they were doing around 70-75, the Mazda came flying up behind me and starting to tailgate me for a while, I had enough of it and I slightly brake checked them dropping about 5kms he then proceeded to do what you see on screen. I get brake checks are shit and shouldn’t happen but neither should getting out of the car doing stupid shit like that on the freeway.
Police are aware of the situation and I filed an official at and in case nobody noticed but the jump in the footage is the car being hit.

@@JohnJ469honestly the cops are not going to pursue these matters through a unverified video recording from a member of the public. Only if there is an actual accident, or the breach of the road rules is so egregious and dangerous that it would offend the sensibilities of normal people not to pursue, and even then. Its such a hassle. You have to introduce the video as evidence, which is hearsay, which means it has to be entered under some hearsay exception, its not a business record... and even then, then the foundation has to be laid and the video has to be verified, then somehow you'd have to ensure the time and date were correct, somehow. Very easy defence that the timestamp cant be authenticated, and therefore the time and date the video was made cannot be determined.
