9:06 actually on the Drama CD, it is clear that what happens (at least on the drama CD) is that Rudy, examining the wall, notices that the all was magically made, so chances are that Roxy was hiding herself on that direction and made a Stone fortress spell to block that path. Since on the Drama CD was like this clearly, chances are that this might be the case on the LN as well... but of course, non confirmed.
This wasn't mentioned in the LN, but Rudy did say he felt Roxy's presence which with this info we can consider as Roxy's magic. Or maybe the presence of magic in general and since they're the only ones attempting the dungeon makes it pretty likely to be Roxy's.
During that moment Roxy was fighting and using large scale spells, i think he just felt her magic spreading through the third floor. Rudy's connection to magic is far greater than other characters in the story, perhaps he can sense it even if he doesn't know it himself.

I can’t choose between them, I find it so hard, Eris was always my favourite, but what happens later really bumped Sylphie up there, and I like Roxy too, but each one is so different that it’s impossible for me to pick between them.
I can't help but feel like I'm melting inside seeing Roxy's reactions and interactions this episode. Maybe some of you young inexperienced people don't get it but when you know someone's feelings and intentions are genuine it's a heart warming thing to encounter. Especially in todays world where it's not as common as it used to because of how little responsibility and accountability interpersonal relationships have. We used to put more effort because people you cared about would hold you in check for the way you conducted yourself. But now, most of the time nobody knows but you, so you can just delete people and treat them as you will because nobody is there to hold you accountable for your actions. I suppose as a side note, Sylph, Roxy, and Eris all do this. Almost like it's a fantasy (haha). However, to relate to what I previously mentioned, it's based on a different time period where things like being held accountable for how you interact with people is very different. Think 19th century and prior. The only reason today we can do anything different is because technology allows for a growing minority to sleep, eat, and pleasure seek without providing any value to society or the people around them. Only advise I can give to any of the young guys is you better off dating a girl you think is an 8 that really loves you than going after a 10. I promise you will be happier in the long run

I promise you that despite becoming more physically and economically viable the game has only gotten exponentially more difficult. For men it's what have you done to better yourself for her and for women it's what have you done to make his life less difficult. But we play these additional games that makes it harder for everyone. Also your comment on "the labyrinth merging into the ruins" is totally not how I interpreted that, I attribute it to a common design element/habit of the creator of these teleportation things. Nanahoshi mentioned some person who's a magic-circle-genius, so I imagine if the labyrinth's similar to the stuff orsted uses, it must be one person creating both places/circles.
I suspected that they'd show SOMETHING from the Roxy chapters. Only because the pacing of the anime without anything was like < 10 minutes between "Roxy has been trapped in the labyrinth for a month" and Roxy on the brink of losing to an endless swarm of enemies. If it didn't create the impression that she was actively fighting for a month straight, it at least created a sense that there was some very important context missing.

Rudy is still to become 'a grown man', he will develop further and truly become that. He has been always childish, even after marrying Sylphy he was still acting immature like how scared he was about Norn. Fearing his own past and thinking Norn would become like him etc. Anime showed it a bit but still it wasn't as clear as LN where there is a whole chapter Rudy getting nervous like a lunatic. Ofc seeing Roxy after a decade affected him negatively without any question, him puking from getting too excited is another sign. And he is completely blind to her cute moves which is actually good for Roxy i think, if he realized it he was going to scare her away lol..
Can wait to reach the part where Paul talks about his two swords and how good they are but sometimes you just need to have a 3rd big greatsword just in case you need to tri-wield!!
I disappointed that the episode showed a bit of flashback with Roxy on the labyrinth but didn't showed how she survived alone. If not for these skipped content videos I would be enjoying this much less. Also, Paul is a good father.

I love the "Paul has two swords" bit. I also loved the family banter between Paul, Lilia, and Rudy last episode. But they also really give the impression that Paul considers Lilia as much his wife as Zenith, which isn't quite accurate, and also makes it somehow even less forgivable that Lilia abused Aisha the way she did. So I'm not sure if this was a good change or not.
I would think that Rudeus isn't aware that polygamy is accepted there, and he wasn't even considering pursuing a relationship with Roxy at that moment...so of course, he's not looking for signs
The anime handled the meeting between the two ok I think this is a source material problem that the author needed to fix also the duel wielding innuendo was funny as hell. Sorry folks Roxy is TOO PERFECT
9:00 There's a CD drama covering the labyrinth arc, it explains why Rudy knew to blow up the wall, it had to do with how the walls he broke had a different color/texture than the others, he figured out it was man made/ monster made, and theorised it must be hiding a part of the 3rd floor, a part Roxy might be in since they searched almost the whole 3rd floor without running into her, or finding her remains.
For Rudeus's entire life, everyone around him sees him as a prodigy or a genius and he actually is. But when it comes to women, his brain was completely shutted-off. I always find it so hilarious😂

I disappointed that the episode showed a bit of flashback with Roxy on the labyrinth but didn't showed how she survived alone. If not for these skipped content videos I would be enjoying this much less.

Anyone else notice the growing trend of the anime community jumping to the knee-jerk only to be proven wrong the very next episode. It happens everytime, can folks pls remember they are watching a STORY...not a fucking 90s' action flick with an epm meter...fucking hell.

I love the "Paul has two swords" bit. I also loved the family banter between Paul, Lilia, and Rudy last episode. But they also really give the impression that Paul considers Lilia as much his wife as Zenith, which isn't quite accurate, and also makes it somehow even less forgivable that Lilia abused Aisha the way she did. So I'm not sure if this was a good change or not.
I would think that Rudeus isn't aware that polygamy is accepted there, and he wasn't even considering pursuing a relationship with Roxy at that moment...so of course, he's not looking for signs
The anime handled the meeting between the two ok I think this is a source material problem that the author needed to fix also the duel wielding innuendo was funny as hell. Sorry folks Roxy is TOO PERFECT

9:00 There's a CD drama covering the labyrinth arc, it explains why Rudy knew to blow up the wall, it had to do with how the walls he broke had a different color/texture than the others, he figured out it was man made/ monster made, and theorised it must be hiding a part of the 3rd floor, a part Roxy might be in since they searched almost the whole 3rd floor without running into her, or finding her remains.
For Rudeus's entire life, everyone around him sees him as a prodigy or a genius and he actually is. But when it comes to women, his brain was completely shutted-off. I always find it so hilarious😂

I dident see Rudy beeing a clueless protag so much but rather a pupil who is reunited with his master after a very long period of time. He also pretty much worships the ground she walks on so wouldnt expect her to be into him.
