I just discovered these guys not too long ago. Before my time, But i cant help but love this video. Made me wanna dance and groove; Im looking for more. The message became clear. not to mention now one of my fav groups.
This is my favourite track from Black Uhuru. Love the anthem style music with basic wants in life lyric subject matter. I think the futuristic look of the video suggests that with solidarity, we ALL can have a better future.
My favorite reggae band from the eighties. They sent reggae back to its root and showed me that to be a great reggae band you just need to be as humble as you may. Reggae is about sharing feelings and thoughts and not about wasting money or showing vanity or power. It's real human life and real love
I still love this group! Again I'm sad i discovered them to late. Good music morals love and peace. I bet if people listen to more reggae music there would be no more wars. all so i like Puma i think she's too adorably cute! I would of married her and lots of children I'll miss her.

RIP Puma Jones RIP, Robbie Shakespeare, such a great band at a time when reggae was respected and the music being played in Jamaica unlike today saw them live at the Rainbow Theatre Finsbury Park London it was wild miss those days.
Thanks for posting this extreme classic and may they make it back to the top and to the frontline for we neeeeddd solidarity, regardless of color, ethnic background or culture. To who said it sucked doesn't understand the voice of sufferation which brings harmony with the discord of the human condition. Mellow reggae grooves are classic but these guys have always been rebels, frontiers, non conformists and political allies aligned to freedom. The rebel inside lives deep.
Finally...after years of searching (becuz I didnt know the song or name) now I FOUND IT!!!! I've been wanting to hear this song for a long time!!! Heard this once and LOVE the group. actually Steven Van Zandt has credit for writing this song....the guitarist for Bruce Springsteen's E-Street band and one of the mobs guys on The Sopranos....lol. Doesn't make a lot of sense but it's true.
@vamploboluv17 I think thats changing though. There have been strong movements within the Reggae and Rastafarian movements to challenge that homophobia as not compatible with Rasta ethics. There was a declaration a while back from many key reggae bands refuting homophobia and committing to address it in the community.

Sometime in '85 or '86 I saw Black Uhuru in San Carlos, Ca. What a fantastic time.
