As tears runs down my face listening to this song. I pray that he RIP. Thanks for leaving us with the biggest gift of all, Your music... RIP Greogry Isaacs.
Smoothly, sensuously, utterly romantic. Who could ever replace him? Where is the night nurse to help us through our grief at this very great loss? Gregory, we will never forget you.
couldn't have been happier than this moment that iam listening to this vibe.real old one,but the memories of youthful age spent in oji river ,nigeria still lingers on.
If I could resurrect you Gregory you would be here singing for your great quality catalogue of music no one can never replace you the one and only cool ruler
As a child of the 80"s it was an honor, I realized to grow up hearing this type of music in its prime. Every reggae artiste at that time was unique, from Gregory Isaacs, Jacob Miller to Bob Marley and Peter Tosh. Foundation Reggae will always be Unmatched especially with the limited Technology at that period of time... R.I.P to A Reggae Legend

Somewhere in Harlesden, London NW10, 1981, 3AM on a Saturday night. This tune coming out of a stack of 18inch woofers in a Victorian semi-detached house. The rooms packed and everyone rocking as one. Those days!
See you soon Mr. Gregory... you were the true reggae rocker from the 70´s and 80´s!! Thanks for all the great lovers and dancing moments you gave to us... RIP

The immortal Gregory. This man gave me a magic carpet ride for over a decade. My mom loved her sum Gregory, miss ya mum. Ansel Collins or Winston Wright cooking up some.nice organ licks w Sly & Robbie.🎉
The Best ! "
+Tyrone Smith I know right, I was thinking the same thing "ah so yuh seh" tool cool. I am so gonna use that the next time someone ask me to do something.

Top Ranking , saw him perform in London in 1981 , a short time after Bob Marley had passed , as you say he didn’t sound any different from the albums , an almost effortless voice .
Gregory Isaacs has been knocking on my consciousness all day today. "Hey, did you forget me? You posted Burning Spear, but nothing by me." Dearest Gregory, you know I will never forget you. How could I? You are my favorite reggae singer. So in honor of the "Cool Ruler" as he was called, here is the earliest live video I could find on youtube. Earl Chin first had a radio show and then a show on cable TV I believe. Gregory is obviously lip syncing here to his current single on his African Museum label, but any chance to see a young Gregory is very worthwhile.
Irielion could be many reasons but most likely his current band was in Jamaica and it would be just too expensive to fly them in for just one or a few promotion events.
gwan gregory. This is one tune I remember when I was a yute lying in bed when my Father had house parties, this song was always played!!! AND PLAYED VERY LOUD. What a tune! My favorite Greogory tune!
Music is truly universal...feel like i know this guy sooo well yet we've never met. R.I.P Great Gregory Isaacs.......truly 'The Cool Ruler'. Ur music lives on.....

he have some very talented sons check this song out Zero tolerance its a very good song made by his kids:)
Why do you think lip-syncing? No band? Too crisp and clear?
Irielion could be many reasons but most likely his current band was in Jamaica and it would be just too expensive to fly them in for just one or a few promotion events.
