For those who will be listening this song in 2090,,just know Sophia was a legend in our time...am writing this on Fri Nov 2022,,this song was released the year I was born 1986🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪 Nairobi Kenya 🤝🤝🤝
Sophia, you are still my best female artist. I almost got crazy with this track. It was in 1987 when the track was first introduced in Zimbabwe and everything changed. The musical landscape changed and it was on top ten chart for a year. Thank you.
Why would there be nudity? If you are seeing nudity in music videos, you're not watching music videos on RUclips. Also, why is this idiotic comment spammed on EVERY MUSIC VIDEO on RUclips? We get it, you like the song.
@@culwin Hello friend, it's not an "idiotic comment" as you put it , I just stated the fact here which is true, Plus I never knew RUclips users are gonna steal my comment and spam it all Over RUclips comment section. But anyway, We are all here to enjoy this big tune.
Eins der schönsten Raggae-Liedern überhaupt. Lange hab ich es gesucht und jetzt durch Zufall gefunden. Ach die gute alte Zeit. Echt gutes und schönes Lied das man immer wieder anhören kann. 👍😁
That's a rather big statement to make as the Panamanians, Costa Ricans, Nicaraguans, Colombians and even Brazilians probably have stronger claim since its inception ( Due to the geographical connection and cultural links from construction of the Panama Canal).
Old is ever gold.. great song from a legend! I was so young when this song was first released and it was a hit and still a hit now..A hit of the century
Heard this on BBC R4 Desert Island Discs this very morning...first time in an age. Had forgotten just how utterly delightful this tune was. That's my ear-worm for the rest of the week....marvellous!
Same thing i heard it on radio yesterday. How amazing i needed to know the title and who sings it and thanks to google listen i had the answer . Wonderful song and singer. Im.not sure if that guy exists though and how he does it

Still I can't get enough of this song since 1988 in Chiwala then Ndola Rural now Masaiti District memories of my late Uncle Fred Ilutombi Munyekete CRIEP malume.
I remember being young hearing this song on radio, back then we had to wait & hope the DJ plays it or someone requests on a request show. We used to convert lyrics to Shona (Zimbabwean) as we could not work out what she was saying, we had no TVs so couldn't imagine beyond the beats.
I've been looking for this song for years! Too many, around 15 perhaps. I just had the rythm stuck in my head but I was a little kid and knew no English at the time, so I could only hum it. 5 minutes ago I found out about this RUclips song search mode and it worked! This song brings me strong memories from my childhood and my mom who later passed away. This one is for you mom ❤
I remember that song bck iwas in high school when the big boys coming from the city could show their dance strokes to freeze the village school mats who had never visited the city...man it was fun fun..iwas among the village boys ..it made me to befriend the town boys and to know their unique dance. Stroke....RIP David one of high school friends..who loved the song most way bck in 1993
I love her whole look, love her voice, love that she got told what to sing, probably. She a strong woman though. Hope she wrote her own songs and not mainstream push.
In my opinion, she is the best female reggae singer. Wonderful voice. Fantastic feeling for the song, always makes the most of the material. Unfortunately, several songs are substandardly produced. She deserves better production.
I did a search for Rita Marley 1 Draw Sensi version ( long version, almost 8 minutes ) & this came up. Before Reggae really blew up in the 90s college radio stations were playing this song. It was so hot it was still getting radio play in '89 & people still love it.

My favorite Reggae. I have been listening to it since 1986 when it was released every week and now am still listening to it 36 years.
Changing the cassette to Side B to get to this, while sitting by the bonfire at Christmas holidays. 90s rural East Africa village life. Good times.
