I m born in 1997, in early 2000 s my parents used to let the tv on music channels, as a 4-5 years kid i was dancing on this song as if i were the artist himself 😂🤣🥹
He has 3 number ones at that time, and a few top fives in the 90s on top of the number 1s, he left in 1998 as he wanted a break from music as he was going flat out for almost 10 years as he was signed at such a young age and was performing and selling records and getting top 5s in Australia, so he went to spend time down under with his family for around 3 to 6 months. He was dropped by his label in 1999 due to him not returning on time as he started to get severe panic attacks and breakdowns around mid 1998 in 0z. He was never dropped by his label due to him not selling records or poor performance or not being popular, he was unlucky on what happened to him (Personally) in the late 90s, his record company had to drop him as their was no return date for him at the time as his health was so so bad at the time, he was having 20-40 panic attacks a day and couldn't even leave his home. He was also admitted to a hospital as he was close to committed his own fatality.
What i like about this video song is, it is reflecting right amount of energy of enjoying life...no doom & gloom and no flaky scenes for views & popularity maybe that has something to do with todays generation mindset.

Let me tell you about Peter in the 90's from a guy who was around the industry then. Back then people thought it was a stupid idea ripping his top open & showing abs, people didn't agree, he thought differently & was way ahead in thinking. Quite a lot of funny stories about Peter in the industry. He had a star quality way beyond his body, but, most people couldn't pick that up because they were obsessed with his body. Peter knew he had drowned himself after the first album, the record label & fans wanted the body, Peter wanted music, hence one of the reasons why he disappeared. He's done good I can tell you that. Plenty of guys hated Peter back then for them abs. But, isn't it funny how when you look on Instagram now nearly every guy is jacked up on steroids with their tops off. The difference is, they are virtually talentless whilst Peter's not.
As a 41 year old man I can honestly say that this man was the catalyst for everyone wanting to have a six pack and get healthy, his music became a secondary affiliation to him, his physical appearance was what people associated him with and that became his blessing and curse, he wanted people to listen to him not look at him, his public image was no longer in anyones control as people have always associated him With being the six pack man. But man I idolised him as a young 15 year old lad.

Let me tell you about Peter in the 90's from a guy who was around the industry then. Back then people thought it was a stupid idea ripping his top open & showing abs, people didn't agree, he thought differently & was way ahead in thinking. Quite a lot of funny stories about Peter in the industry. He had a star quality way beyond his body, but, most people couldn't pick that up because they were obsessed with his body. Peter knew he had drowned himself after the first album, the record label & fans wanted the body, Peter wanted music, hence one of the reasons why he disappeared. He's done good I can tell you that.
Plenty of guys hated Peter back then for them abs. But, isn't it funny how when you look on Instagram now nearly every guy is jacked up on steroids with their tops off. The difference is, they are virtually talentless whilst Peter's not.

As a 41 year old man I can honestly say that this man was the catalyst for everyone wanting to have a six pack and get healthy, his music became a secondary affiliation to him, his physical appearance was what people associated him with and that became his blessing and curse, he wanted people to listen to him not look at him, his public image was no longer in anyones control as people have always associated him
With being the six pack man. But man I idolised him as a young 15 year old lad.
