I’m letting you know that many people appreciate your hard work.
From all over the world 🇦🇺👍
True. Very entertaining.
Absolutely. Sarah takes us on a journey every build video. Plus some fun commentary along the way!
I'm letting you, Sarah, know how I work hard to focus on these cars while watching you 💪 I hope you appreciate it ☝
Agreed. Dedicated and hard working. Make it right even if its hidden
So besides the ‘used’ engine that’s not original to that truck, he’s basically getting a brand new truck. Actually better than new. You are truly a great friend. Most people don’t meet people like that their entire life.
Sarah, you're work ethic is to be admired. The quality, the attention to detail, the planning, the follow through, the camera work,
the editing and the timing of how you get something put out every 3 - 5 days it seems, is just amazing. I legit hope youtube is paying you butt loads of money because you certainly deserve it. As an old mostly retired wrench myself, I love seeing someone with your talent making it happen. Thank you for all that you do!!!
It’s not, lol. It pays enough to buy parts and pay overhead to make these videos but otherwise I pay myself crap.
labor of love@@SarahnTuned
Your attention to detail is second to none! I haven't seen any RUclipsr/mechanic/tradesman with your work ethic and meticulous attitude. Keep up the great vids, you are an inspiration to so many people.
Sarah, I love your quirky humor and weirdness. Don’t ever change.😊
I would like to see more videos about your deserved vacations, maybe make them partly a working vacation, looking for parts for vehicles, old buildings to remodel into a new shop, or old building parts to build a semi-new shop.
Yeah, we need to see another roadtrip. Maybe visiting the giveaways.
I have often thought the same thing. Sarah needs some personal time, just having fun. I sure we would all hate to see her get sick from overwork. Of course, for some people, too much work is just enough.
With MickBeth!
That all requires money and time I don’t have. I’m not one of those trust fund kid RUclipsrs, lol. I actually have to work for a living.
@@SarahnTuned BOOM!!
I worked at dealerships for 20+ years, and it would blow your mind how many new OE parts were thrown in the trash to make room for new inventory.
That makes me sad.
"It's an awkward shape, and an awkward weight"... I have the same quote on my Tinder profile.
Hahaha
Lost it at the multiple whispered "carefullings" :D
Nice to see the shout out for Rookie Pilot!! And Charlie's truck is looking on point!
This truck looks spotless. I'd pass a truck coming from mining due the rust, but this looks incredible in great shape.
It’s an Arizona mine, no rust
I would definitely leave any vehicle of mine in your capable hands. Unfortunately i live in England. Your standards are impeccable! Simply, THE best!
Sarah, please don't ever stop being YOU!
“Not the Warren G type” Haha
REGULATORS!!!!!😎
Mount up!!!!
It was a clear black night
A clear white moon
Warren G was on the streets
Can't wait to see the finished product! Your work is Immaculate! Love It!!
The truck needs a name. I vote Cargo Pants. It's old, will be able to carry a lot of things, and is painted in Khaki😂😂😂! The build is looking awesome! Great job! Charlie is going to have a sweet work truck.
I can't wait to see the truck totally finished... Charlie is very lucky to have you as a friend.
Food…Find it…eat it. On it!
Awesome project 👍🏼thank you!
My first problem of the day is lack of coffee.... I also have no problem admitting when other people are wrong!
If there ever was a Goddess in this World it would be Sarah. Thank you for the video. You are why all us Veterans protect this Country.
What a great way to start a new week. No SnT video would be complete without at least one “Oooo-Jeeze!”… Bonus points for the proper use of “accoutrements”. 😉 As always, thank you, Sarah. 👍👍👍
Carefulling is my new word of the week.
So glad that you packaged & labeled those packages. Makes reassembly so much easier. I've seen folks who don't & a horrible reassembly. They use whatever they can find. And that goes for engine work as well. That truck is looking fab.
That is a pretty cool paint color.
Robot Astro glide priceless as is your attention to detail.
That little threaded insert escaping into the innards of the core support (and not being able to find your magnet afterwards) is the most relatable thing I've ever seen on RUclips lol
The key between your videos and others is clear. You cull nothing and always clean stuff first. I believe you are unique in that. Some don’t get it, but what matters is the care you put in each project. Of course, having Charlie and Angel around doesn’t hurt matters any. You press on whether you are up to it or not. We are here to prop you up in our own way. Been here since the garage days. You always deliver Sarah. Oooh Rah! Press on! Yeah buddy!
I was thinking the same thing!! Zero shortcuts!! Awesome! Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
@@billyounger9713, Sarah has been a no compromise worker since before this. It’s a mindset. Unyielding always yields the best results with zero regret. I thought I had a hard head!
TIL I need a soundboard of Sarah whispering "carefully" all asmr style while I go about my life.
I agree. Her whispering should only be available to those over 18.
@@ready4u814 uhhh...only maybe for people who tend to sexualize everything. I could see how the whispering can be soothing, but come on
It's " carefulling"😊
@@williamevans6522 was about to comment the same, an OG Sarahism
I’ve said this before but it’s still true. You are amazing. Excellent video Colonel Chip
I love it when you whisper sweet “carefulling” in my ear.
Love that beige and black contrast!
I just want to give you a compliment i love how you just can't stand for the part to be dirty and clean them so great and you obviously know what you are doing and you are absolutely Gorgeous the most beautiful mechanic i have ever seen.
I meant every word.
Hi Sarah, I'm pretty sure that many of us take for granted all the hours you put in simply to get the right camera angles and then to edit the film.
I just want to say a massive thank you. Your content is awesome and frankly, so are you.
All the best from a wintry Yorkshire.
I love the color on this truck! As always, your videos are great and I only ever check YT to see if you've posted a new one! Keep up the awesome work.
I have a reserve on an Edison Motors electric conversion for a full ton truck. So I have a similar resto in my future. It’s going to be interesting experience.
Edison Motors is an amazing company.
If half the auto industry was as half detailed as Sarah, the automotive world would be a better place
This is my new favourite channel. I love all the cleaning, hardware painting, new OEM parts.. really caters to my Virgo-ism 😂
Keep the music references coming as well!
I literally lol'd when that thing disappeared into the hole. I'm so sorry Sarah.
Love the detail and care that went into this Watched to the end. 5 stars
A hair drier is a great way to get a stubborn sticky thing to turn loose more cleanly and easily (such as that protective film on the Ford logo). Love your stuff. Thanks for sharing it.
Absolutely the best car channel on RUclips
Sarah, your ergonomically desinged workbench is definitely perfect. 😀
I liked the "Robot Astro-Glide" reference your sense of humor and dedication to detail is what makes your videos my favorites. Oy yes, and you are pretty.
You're hilarious , talented and beautiful - golden combo.
Much awaited, much appreciated looking forward to excellent work as always from you.
That color is great!
I like that you equate zen gardening with part cleaning. 🔥!
Gosh, this thing is going to look like the nicest work truck ever! Spectacular work as always. Your attention to detail is second to none.
Love your attention to detail... You rock ❤
SARAH!!!!!
I need to see Sarah win an international trophy of some sort - some serious recognition of her vibe. Because.
Love this channel so much. I thought that I was the only OCD, spend 5x longer to finish a project because I have to clean everything before it goes back together and if it doesn't then it probably gets replaced with NOS OEM parts, type of person haha ❤❤
I like OEM lights too! They work soo much better and don’t blind oncoming traffic.
They do not work better, and these do not blind on coming traffic. That being said, I wanted to put OEM "looking" LED sealed beams from Rigid Industries on it, but its not my truck..
Wow, I wasn't convinced on that colour originally but now you've got the headlights and grille back on it you were definitely right!
Hi Sarah...Your Hard Work will Pay off. What A Beautiful Truck. I hope Charlie gives you Lots of Flowers For Valentines Day As A Thank You.
Love the nails! I'll so never understand how you do this work with them. Lastly. I'm not convinced I like those headlights.
Again, absolutely impressed you taught yourself how to weld and have improved to the point you can spot weld delicate parts. Bravo.
@sarahntuned if you've got super-grimy small parts for the heated ultrasonic cleaner, put them in a jar or heavy duty ziplock bag with your solvent of choice. Fill the bulk of the tank with water or whatever you've got in there. Heat and ultrasound waves will still pass through the medium perfectly and it won't contaminate and waste more solvent than necessary.
FWIW, I use about 20% Simple Green with water most of the time.
Also, to clean white plastic reservoirs that get yellowed with age, first clean with a mixture of water with a little dish soap and bleach (combining it with the heat/ultrasound works great here too). To bring it back from yellow to white, brush on hydrogen peroxide, cover with saran wrap, and let it sit under a UV light or in the sunshine.
@plus790 , even if Sarah doesn't try the white plastic thing, I certainly will. Thanks!
Tip from vintage gamers, look up Retro-Brite
Thank you Sarah. ❤
It is just like building a house. You frame it side it put the roof on...and then the little stuff takes 97% of the effort. This truck is coming along very nicely. Don't worry about anything as you can only go as fast as the parts arrive.
Your skills are just getting better and better. I admire your work ethic. Love your videos.
Thanks Sarah! Lots of work for you guys, but worth it. +1 on steelies.
Great Job!!!! Thank You... :-)
First video of yours I've seen! Dont. Ever. Change!
Epic and so original content 😍👌🏽
Your attention to detail borders on pathological! :D
Nice job.
"It's a Sickness". 😆
Thanks!
Not that I'm capable of restoring/rebuilding a car/truck, but if I was, this is how i would work! Fastidious attention to cleaning and detail and the almost obsessive perfectionism. Loving this channel more and more, and it's the perfect antidote to some of the more chaotic and "quick and dirty" car channels I follow. Keep doing what you do, it is so appreciated
Excellent episode. Thank you!!
I think I have been shadow banned by RUclips. If anyone sees this, please respond.
Another great video as usual from Sarah!
Nope.. it’s in your head
@@SarahnTuned -- Thank you. It's worse than I feared. Now I have voices in my head.
You can powder coat the steel wheels in a silver pearl finish to give them some bling instead of just a pure silver. There are so many colors and finishes available now for powder coating, so I'm sure you can find something that will look great.
Ford would call it Argent. 😉
Vice grips can be used to keep a broken lift cylinder from falling on you :)
I'm one of those weirdos that prefers low spec trucks like this. Currently have an 08 F350 XL that I'm 'refreshing' and actually went down to 17s as I like a little more sidewall. Aftermarket wheel choices definitely suck for 8x170, so I went with a set of 17 inch Ford alloys off a slightly nicer spec truck to replace the factory steelies. Just a thought if you're struggling to find a wheel design you like. Absolutely loving this build, keep up the great work 👍
Those vents in the back are so you can draw fresh air in thru the heater/AC/vent system and it has a way OUT. The door slam thing might be a happy coincidence, but not their purpose.
It is satisfying fitting new parts with new paint great job
Love that you clean and reuse everything. So smart and cost effective
The latest Welker Farms has them putting their rebuilt 12 V Cummins into their F350 "Fummins". Check it out for info on the AC lines especially.
so true, not many 8 lug wheel options, i was searching for my E250 van
I love the progress you've been making and that's a nice factory color. I should mention this, and no doubt you both already know, but heavy-duty diesel pickup trucks are targets for theft. You may want to add an anti-theft device such as a Ravelco and/or a GPS tracker. Granted, most people don't know how to drive a manual these days, but that's no guarantee.
Nailed the details yet again 😉
The black headlights are way better than the factory ones
Would be interesting to see a breakdown of the cost of the restoration. All those new OEM parts!
I also have a hard time putting my tools away when I'm building/working on something. I can never find anything even if I just had it in my hand. Love the XL black plastics.
I am trying to get the courage to restore,y 1988 Ford Ranger. Your videos are inspiring and I have learned a lot from you
A quick dip in sulphuric acid will take zinc galvanizing right off. Available in the plumbing section for unclogging drain or as pool cleaner or driveway cleaner.
This truck looks spotless)))
Black steelies with chrome caps would be pretty sexy.
Exactly what I was thinking.
Exactly work Sarah! Been watching your videos now for a few years and love the process on your projects. I just hope maybe one day you can do a day vlog with your MR2, going for a day trip, or maybe even a track day!
Happy Monday Sarah!!!
I remember those lights on Charlie's service truck. Probably one of the better looking Top Kicks I've seen.
High5 to Charlie and Angel!
Stay excellent!!!😎
You can put 17” on that truck too, that is the smallest that clears the 05-up SD250/350 brakes. Maybe more aftermarket 8x170 options in 17”?
Awesome
Powdercoat the factory steelies tan with flat black center caps.
Possum gooch soup. Robot Astro Glide.
This channel is priceless.
🐧 Thank you Sarah 🐧. I now wear a permanently goofy grin! This video was a smiler/laugher of the first order 🤪.
Keep the aspidistra flying!
🐧🐧🐧❤️🌹love, paul 🌹❤️🐧🐧🐧
Those cabin vents do not have covers as they are usually concealed by the bed or box. Also, they are required to allow air to exit the cab when running the HVAC using outside air.
There's a trim ring missing to cap it off.
Thanks as always Sarah! Your Monday morning vids really help make the start of the work week suck a little less.
Your hard work shows. And the quality is shows from that. I'm sure the truck will help both of you, and assist in future projects as you go along. Thank you for continued great content.
Green Sales Company in Cincinnati is great source for NOS and repro Ford parts.
I always loved the headlights on that model and the grill. Very robocop modern
That truck is gonna be so cool!
I'm really appreciating this build.... it showcases uyour talent and insanity! luv to Charlie!
