I was at a great bow shop in Michigan and saw these releases tried out the wise choice and was sold on Carter instantly. The quality was fantastic and they feel indestructible. Thanks for making great releases Mr. Carter.
Dan you guys are down to earth. And Jerry Carter is a true archery treasure. One of the best interviews I've watched. Keep going your going in right direction 😊
Awesome interview. Thought it was pretty cool that he was and had his own machine shop. He may not have a piece of paper saying he is an engineer but that man understands how things need to work together to be perfect. Keep up the great work.
What an awesome interview. Mr Carter is a pioneer in the archery industry. I’ve been shooting his releases for nearly 30 years. Loved the podcast Dan, appreciate it
Wow what a great interview. He seems to be a very humble man. What a true outdoorsman as well he truly enjoys and appreciates nature. The amount of knowledge this man contains is truly incredible.
What a great interview! So interesting to listen to someone that has been in archery for several years and has seen the progression of archery through the years. It was apparrent he enjoyed talking with you!
49 00 for the whisper 2 name being mentioned. I liked the podcast Dan. Thank you Mr Carter for the great products. Now I can understand why the Like Mike 2 has the Stan strap. I am a new compound bow person, and I am liking that Like Mike 2 release set to the hot mode. I may have to try out that whisper 2 now when it becomes available.
Loved hearing the stories from Jerry Carter. I shot the Carter RX1 and Quickie when I shot index releases. Now I’m shooting the Wise Choice and shoot Carter because I think they are a superior product. But it’s good to know that I support some good folks as well. Everyone that I’ve heard talk about Jerry or his wife have all said they are top notch
I would say the Quickie plus which is a little cheaper than the RX1. You can change springs out in the Quickie Plus. The RX has a magnet reset and has a slight click with the magnets when you put tension on the loop to start to draw. I also like the deeper hook of the Quickie Plus. Matter of fact I have Quickie Plus being shipped to me as we speak. I thought I had figured out how to keep a thumb button from making my tendinitis flair up in my forearm but I guess not.
Another amazing podcast. One of these days I'll jump into the big boy pool and finally get a handheld. Maybe after this season, so I can spend some time adapting to a new style of release. Lots of good info in this video. Awesome stuff. #ABT
Love the silverback and nock2it. But whats better than their releases is their customer service. I broke the trigger off my nock2it (my fault). I was due to head out west for elk and they next day aired parts to me so I could run my release with leaving in 2 days. The best.
Been strictly using Carter releases for many years.
Hands down best releases out there.
Amen
Love representing this company! One of the best and most humble people in the whole archery community 🙏
"That's gods temple" 🙏
What a legend of archery
This is why we do this,
Is a dream, to hear a bugle in person.
One day 👌
This has got to be one of your best interviews.. man the knowledge and experience this man just spit out.. damn man that was awesome
Awesome video, I enjoy this video immensely.
Best video on equipment yet! I met Mr. Carter at a show many years ago and actually tried one of the releases with a click in it. Good stuff Dan

One of the best videos I’ve watched in a while. From a well seasoned trigger puncher. Thank you.
Great video. I have been shooting an insatiable 2, for 15 years. I love it. It was nice to see were these releases come from.

I’m trying to decide between those 2 indexes. Do you have a recommendation?

I missed the name of the newest release...what was it?

Let’s go! This was a great video!
If you are ever back down in the Saint Anthony- South Idaho area and need someone to film you, I would love to help!!
Great content with great people 💪🏻
Great videos! Keep up the great work!
Good job love Cater product
What is the new release called? Is it the Whisper 2?
I want to know the same thing!
Yes it is
Yea yup 👍
So many choices which should I pick?
What’s the name of the release with the magnets?
Might have missed it but what is the model of release Mr. Carter said was the best he ever made?
A mechanical genius, and I don't say that flippantly.
What is the name of the new release they just released? With the exchangeable magnets?
What release was he referring to that was the best?
Own a Just Cuz + in brass, not many of those made.
What is the best hinge he has made I hope he told you.
At 9:15 what release was that?
I thought the same thing. I don't think they even named the release.
@@JustShootYourBow I tried looking it up online but no luck
Whisper 2. Not out for sale yet for soon
@@fredrickfranken3436 thank you!
@@fredrickfranken3436 thanks for the update
They just don't make men of this caliber anymore. They had none of the advantages that we have today yet laid the foundation for many industries.
