Clay is a remarkable woodsman and outdoorsman, we get to know his story and some behind the scenes of the making of the show Alone.

Before I even watch this, I know it's gonna be great! Clay is pretty much my inspiration for switching to Trad this year and I even made my own longbow last winter.

Felt like you are both speaking to me. Onto my first elk hunt in CO and ive only hunted whitetail. Ive been racking my brain on how i was going to stay quiet while walking miles on miles a day. Just getting me more excited to go out.
Great podcast, I’ve always been pulled by the lure of trad bowhunting but can’t give up the compound! Lol
Amazing life style he lives.... His wife has to have the UP most confidence in her husband and her abilities to pull it all together. I like to think my wife and I are half way there, after 21 years... Love the content and would love to see elk shape take a stab at the trad life next elk season with clay

Retired, hunted 246 hours in a tree stand last fall. 28 days straight it’s a grind but enjoyable. You need a understanding wife also as Dan would say family first. Waited my whole life to retire and hunt till I drop ain’t nothing better!!🏹🏹🏹
