Great interview/conversation. He's building a pool?? My suggestion is to take pictures of the location of every underground line showing whats down there as well as distance from a fixed point- like the corner of a house. Then put them away. If there are ever any issues down the road you wont have to hunt too far or dig up too much because you will know exactly what is down there.
