Ty, you're the best explainer, I think. BUT! Why do you never address the question that nobody is asking: Why do we charge the fixed orifice system by superheat, and not by the subcool? Obviously, we must use subcool for the automatic orifice systems, because that automation denies us the opportunity of watching the effect of our charge on superheat. But why don't we just charge all systems by subcool then? Thanks Ty!
I have several videos explaining this under the playlist learn HVAC. HVAC 055 superheat will move with a fixed office HVAC 056 Target superheat for a fixed orifice HVAC 057 fixed orifice target subcool HVAC 058 intor knot fixed orifice diagnostics.
