      @@imaMickeysmanwrong! Kobe was drafted out of highschool for a reason. He had a little rough transition into the NBA but everyone knew how great he would be with the work ethic and talent he had and how young he was. He was destined to be great before Jordan ever talked to him or "chose" him. Which didn't happen. Jordan simply truthfully acknowledges kobes skill and hard work to master moves even better than the creator. Mj was simply more talented and athletic but NO ONE WORKED HARDER THAN THE MAMBA!!

      I think it was Ahmad Rashad who said they had lunch one time and debated back and forth who would win and they both ultimately agreed Jordan would because of the size of his hands. He could do things off the dribble that Kobe just couldn’t do because of the way he could control the ball with just 1 hand. Even Phil Jackson said Jordans hands is what made him better than Kobe. They're both 33% 3 pt shooters so how does Kobe have more range. Argument could be made that relative to league average, Kobe was a worse 3 pt shooter than MJ.

    • @avonlave
      @avonlave 9 месяцев назад +6

      So at his peak Kobe was shooting around 45%. That's lower than MJs WORST full season as a Bull. In his prime MJ was shooting 54%. Kobe's BEST FG% was 47%.
      Even if you include MJs 2 seasons with the wizards, his career avg FG% was higher than Kobe's BEST season.
      Shot selection and shot making ability is the biggest thing that separates the 2 players.

      @@avonlavealso lebron‘s beating them both, he‘s a better player than kobe point blank and maybe not better than mj in a 5v5, but as we saw with shaq vs mj, height and weight are crucial in a 1v1.

    I remember when Kobe first came out and Jordan was on his way out. I love the game of basketball so i watched a lot of games and players. Evidently Kobe was next up in the NBA. My brother was a huge Laker fan. I didn't like Jordan. Not personally but because nobody could stop him. Then here comes Kobe. He would stand like Jordan, put his hands on his hips like Jordan, stick his tongue out, shoot, pump fake and even sounded like Jordan when he did interviews. I was like " Man this Kid is just like Jordan. He was a pleasure to watch but he drove me crazy just like Jordan did. You couldn't stop those guys. Of course i appreciate those guys now more than ever. They showed why they are the greatest player of thier time. R I.P. Kobe bean Bryant
