Yeah kix really, for me at least, was the voice of r6 pro league. Without him it wasn’t the same. I’ve been in the siege community for 5 years and I still can’t believe he isn’t here with us anymore for all the time I’ve watched his stream/casting. Proves to me death can hit anyone, even the ones that didn’t deserved it.
Possibly the best and most enthusiastic caster in esports history up until now, and possibly another won't come for a very long time. The amount of soul he put into his craft is unmatched by any other caster in the community.
In Kixs last stream before leaving he said "I'm going to go for a drive." I don't consider myself a soft person but I cried a little bit after he said that and talked about having a longer stream tomorrow

Losing someone cared for like that and well known in the scene is awful. He seemed like an AMAZING dude from what I've observed in the short time I've seen all this. May the guy rest in piece..
Kixstar was probably the biggest face in rainbow six siege. His casting brought so much life and energy, especially paired with Interro. Siege will never be the same.

Interro is genuinely one of the strongest people I've ever seen, 1 week, and he talks about it with strength and not crying and respect, to lose such a close friend, one who didn't deserve to be taken, and to be that collected, is quite frankly the strongest thing I've witnessed, same for Michaels step dad and mother

RIP Kixstar. I know his pain. My best friend in life died in a motorcycle crash. His brother called me to tell me that he died. Losing someone is one of the hardest things. Getting those phone calls is soul crushing.
A legend in the siege community. He'll be remembered forever, I hope Ubisoft put a little like memory of Kix in a siege map like they did BostonBearJew
This person still had a smile when his friend died, you can hear the pain behind his voice, its truly sad that people best friends die, and it can be completely random like you can be sitting on your bed and get a message your friend died, just be happy he was your friend. Wish the best for you 💕
He was just always a constant in Siege. Like Ash rushes, lag excuses, hitreg, he was just always there. It never dawned on me that it was even possible for him not to be, he was just THE r6 caster in my eyes. I'm still in shock. Gone too soon, but will never be forgotten. Miss you, Kix
I remember seeing some news somewhere about it and I just couldn't believe it. I didn't know the details, but I didn't need to. Damn man this hits fucking different. I got a call in 2019 that my best friend had passed away. There was no disbelief because of the pain I could hear in my other friends voice... It hit me within 10 secs of saying passed away. The phrase "heart dropped" is real, felt like it just stopped and my stomach tightened up. I threw my phone and just broke down - he had just finished his Uni dissertation and it was ready to submit bang on the deadline. He had overdosed and his mum found him in his bed that morning...

Just heard about this today. I'm blown away. For what it's worth, you have my deepest condolences. Like 10 min prior to his parents interview during the invitational, I said to my wife, I can't believe we haven't seen Kixstar yet.. then I saw the interview and was just floored. Kix truly was a star and Siege won't be the same with out him. Much love and respect to you and yours, and to Kix's family and friends. Prayers inbound. Eta 2 min...
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege would not be the game that it is today with out Kixstar. Millions less players would have purchased the game and it would just not be the same. This man was a true original of the scene was one of the biggest people playing the game, made countless insane clips, shared and advocated the game to so many, created metas, rose up the ranks and was one of the truly one of the best out there. This game would be almost nothing without the passion, enthusiasm and sheer legendary status of Kixstar.
Coming back here after a year and this still has the same effect it did the first time around. I still can't believe that he's gone. I started playing siege in 2018 and it introduce me to amazing individuals at an important point in my life. I feel like Kix's energy resonated with a lot of the raw emotions in the community. There was just something about his energy that always pulled me back to the game. It's been a year and I haven't touched siege since then. can't believe that this stranger had this big of an impact on me.
*I've never known KiX all that well or personally, but when I saw the news, it felt like I got hit by a truck. It's a feeling that can't be explained..*
I absolutely love Kix. Even tho I never met him I thought he seemed like such a genuine guy. Pro league will never be the same without him, but we gotta keep the game going for him. He will go down as one of the greatest in the r6 community
I was in the middle of work when I found out. Everyone asked me if I was okay. I just stared at my phone in disbelief. He was a huge impact on why I play and enjoyed watching casting.
It's a terrible thing to lose somebody especially someone you're close with I lost my older brother to a car accident last year it's the worst thing you can feel the loss of a loved one or best friend
Michael was an amazing person, he and Parker, unfortunately i never got a chance to meet them, i planned to do it on the São Paulo Pro League last year, but yeah you guys know, covid happened, but okay, i just thought: "okay, once this mess is over, I'll get a chance to see my favorite players and casters all in one place", and yeah... This happened i wasn't really that active on Michael's streams but I've always took my time to say hello and watch it for 1 hour at least, and dude just the essence of that guy, man, it really hits me thinking that he's not here anymore, he was the person from the NA scenario who i admired the most, along with parker as well, like it's already hard to go through his death as a follower, and i can't imagine how it is to someone as close to him as Parker, stay safe Parker And Rest in peace Kix.

Rest in peace KiX, may the ace god rest peacefully.
The Kix x interro combo will always the definitive voices of siege esports. Love you kix, made me fall in love with siege esports
My favourite casters, Interro and Kix... siege won’t be the same again, rest easy Kixstar 😔
He was a legend in r6. Mans was and forever be a goat
I really wish I could just give Interro A fkn massive hug
As someone who doesn’t know kix and all I know is that siege community loved him I didn’t really care since people die every day
But damn his pov hits
He was young he was freaking on discord online he went outside and didn’t come back he probably had alot of plans
This hits and makes me want to be a better human so when i die im ready and people cry with smiles knowing im going to heaven
Man, he really went through through the five stages of grief
Wow. Incredibly sad to hear. I love and miss kix. It was heartwarming to see the Christlike love that kix's stepdad showed to interro
still miss kix so much, rest easy man.
Not me crying rn. R.I.P KIX you will be missed very dearly
*I've never known KiX all that well or personally, but when I saw the news, it felt like I got hit by a truck. It's a feeling that can't be explained..*
This guy have a very strong mind and soul, I'm getting wattering eyer by just listening.
love you homie. love you all.
Siege would never be the same after kix’s death
Especially in pro league
Rest in piece KiX dont know the r6 scene but he sounds like a great man, y’all will get through this, god bless.
I absolutely love Kix. Even tho I never met him I thought he seemed like such a genuine guy. Pro league will never be the same without him, but we gotta keep the game going for him. He will go down as one of the greatest in the r6 community
RIP KIXSTAR we wont forget you brother happy to have played with you
I feel soo bad for parker like that was his brother they were best friends Rest In Peace Kix 🙏
Never stop talking about kix and the influence he had on us. He can’t ever be forgotten. He taught me everything
I was in the middle of work when I found out. Everyone asked me if I was okay. I just stared at my phone in disbelief. He was a huge impact on why I play and enjoyed watching casting.
I can imagine how still he stood there when Michael’s stepdad confirmed what he feared
MAN STILL TO THIS DAY MISS YOU KIX BRO ONE OF THE GREATEST SIEGE PLAYERS TO EVER TOUCH THE GAME SIEGE HONESTLY WONT EVER BE THE SAME WITHOUT HIM
It's a terrible thing to lose somebody especially someone you're close with I lost my older brother to a car accident last year it's the worst thing you can feel the loss of a loved one or best friend
stay strong parker we all are with you
Love you Kix, you really have gotten me into this game more than anyone.
I never knew kix but rip 🙏 🕊 fly high buddy we will all ways remember you your clips will all ways be the best
This happened i wasn't really that active on Michael's streams but I've always took my time to say hello and watch it for 1 hour at least, and dude just the essence of that guy, man, it really hits me thinking that he's not here anymore, he was the person from the NA scenario who i admired the most, along with parker as well, like it's already hard to go through his death as a follower, and i can't imagine how it is to someone as close to him as Parker, stay safe Parker
And Rest in peace Kix.
I had just recently gotten the kix charm last month, I'm never taking it off. rip kix 💜
It’s crazy you can see he’s holding back to tears and his pain . I feel so bad for Parker but may Michael live in peace
