I sensed Julius and Moses were just frustrated at how the game was progressing. The Celtics were just better in 1985-86. In a exhibition game for the 1983-84 season against the 76ers, Larry Bird initiated a fight with Marc Ivaroni. I disliked Larry Bird for starting an altercation against an incoming second year player. Disliking the Celtics anyway, I found myself somewhat understanding Moses Malone's and Julius Erving's rationale given how Larry Bird would act. In retrospect, the fight was very unfortunate and I do not think Julius, Larry, or Moses were pleased with what happened in retrospect.
