    Jane, you are amazing. After having a creative block for many years, yours are the only techniques that make it feel fun without any expectations. You have brought back to me the wonder of mark-making. Thankyou.

    Thanks for sharing these great techniques. I’m inspired and want to try this on my homemade gel plates to create pieces for home decor and print on fabric for stitching projects. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos.

    Wonderful video as always, thanks Jane. Quick question, at 7:19 minutes after peeling the monoprint with the oil crayon, do you feel that the acrylic fixes the oil crayon to the paper with this method so that it no longer smudges ?

    Of course, it is a pity that there is at least a description of the materials used. I have to guess. Yulagodarna those who give answers in the comments.
    I wish you success!

    Nice! I wonder, what is "deli paper"? Is it waxed or is it bakery release paper? Google Translate refuse the word "deli paper"... Anybody?

    • @mickihigh5879
      @mickihigh5879 6 лет назад +1

      It's like a waxed paper sort of - we used to wrap childrens' sandwiches in it; you can find it at any restaurant supply store, and quite often in a supermarket, but only in small sizes

    I love this woman's art but I hate how she never responds to comments. Bob Burridge is another painter who never answers questions. Very annoying!

    • @scribbleartie
      @scribbleartie 6 лет назад +5

      Another youtube creator explained how hard it was to reply to comments after you get so many subs, and videos, and its because all the comments for the different videos go to one page in their creator page. So in order to reply properly, they have to watch the individual video, which is time consuming. I love Jane Davis too, and she doesn't have adverts as far as I can tell, so I'm just grateful she shows us this for free. But yeah, even a thumbs up or a heart would be nice :)

      They both put out content and demo's for free, they both take the time to upload these videos. Again, for free. They also both do lots of classes, work, art and they have a life and need to make a living of this. There's only so much time in a day and they already give a lot! And remember, they both have websites you can visit, (online) classes you can follow etc. If you have questions maybe try this? janedaviesstudios.com/contact/ Good luck!
