I think this was the first gelli plate video I saw - probably by accident. I still find it absolutely fascinating and am totally hooked on U-Tube demonstrations. But this one is the best. Love the music too.

Wow that kid is talented! ACHTUNG! Das kinder est WUNDERBAR!!!! He kinda reminded me of me when i was little. I kept wanting to be like "NO! Dont do it youre gonna mess it up!" But the shocked me everytime! They had a plan and Knew what they were doing and blew my mind at how amazing the finished product was. That kid is an Artist! And in saying that as a professional Artist!

Im serious that kid was using the gelli plate as a tool with insane proficiency but it was jjst one tool in an artists arsenal, but their capacity is immense! I was on here looking just to do some research because i am using a small plate for a little piece of a huge painting i am working on and i haven't used it in a a year or so. Just continuing professional education, but get them an easel and paint! That is like an artists go to weapon in the fight against sadness, the repression of emotions, equality, civility, culture, open discourse, philosophy and anyony and everyone that doesnt whant us to pause and take a moment to ruminate and possibly pointificate with a randomstranger of the topic of existentialism perhaps. Art does that and my fried that young human has been touched by the gift!
