literally everyone in my family was driving their own car and now we are all getting ebikes. ebikes and escooters have exploded in my city this year, I hope it continues to grow at this rapid pace. Cars should only be used when needed, not for simple, single person commutes.
I started late with watching you videos. Really like the camera angle you use with the handlebars in view. Most of all no annoying music. I ended up unsubscribing to many because of overlaying over bearing music in there videos. Man that dude on the scooter with not paying attention and not knowing how to ride and brake on a scooter. I recently bought a high power scooter , 10,000 max watts. My very first e-scooter. I took a huge amount of time learning to ride it well. Took it nice and easy for a long time. I practiced braking so much ,so i do not even have to think about it anymore. Instinctively getting at max arms length leaning back as far as i can while grabbing rear brake followed 1/10 of a second later front brake. Did not even go riding around until i could do that while riding fast. Even though he messed up and did not stop when he should, if he had taken the time to learn how to ride the scooter his braking would have been far different. Now i am looking to but an ebike. trying to get enough money from selling my electric longboard. Either buying an onyx rcr or doing something like what you have done with your Ariel rider x-class. Cost is everything. If you don’t mind. How much did you pay for that motor,controller,battery,tires? Where did you buy the motor and battery pack(molicell) seeing which would be more cost effective for me.
Thanks! Yea my first PEV was the Nanrobot D6. Great power but terrible range lol. 10k watts is pretty great. In terms of upgrades, I originally got the X-Class for $2100 and with the upgrades (3kw motor, light kit, 80a controller) including the 21ah molicel battery it came to about $5000. I know it's comparable to the price of a Surron and Onyx, but the top end speed and range of this bike is definitely better than both of those bikes stock. I've raced both and the 72V X-Class is too fast. Sal also has great installation videos for the kits if you're out of state.

I passed two spandex wearers on my ebike today, and they caught up to me(pedaling hard as hell). Little did they know I had to make a left, so I casually signaled left and then put the brakes on not very gently, and they almost ate it because they were clipped in. They started yelling some not very nice things at me as I casually pedaled away at 28 mph hahaha.
the scooter guy was careless I've ridden stuff all my life plus I drive so I use Common sense I'm always looking around me Anticipating what other drivers might do plus I want to come home to my kids, just ride safe people be 5 minutes late you can always make it up later good video good content JB,✌️

So the camera I use is the Insta360 One X2 which has 2 lenses (one on the front and back). This allows the camera grab footage from both sides to create a seamless 360 degree shot from all angles.
This bike is too fast for the bike path and it's better to stay with the cars sometimes especially with a lot of tourists and pedestrians jumping in the bike lane.

What motor kit do you have and what battery ?
I have 3kw direct drive motor in rear with a 31ah Molicel / Samsung battery paralleled together
