    Once you upgrade, better get that thing registered. They’re starting to crack down, and it won’t be long if you’re cruising at that speed on the middle of the road. And we both share that attractive dark skin lol.
    It’s why I may get the battery but not the motor upgrade on mine. I want to keep it bike legal.

    You first video? Congrats man, great job. Sweet looking bike! I just got an AR x-class step through and love it. Ordered a custom full length seat from JB Seats that will be 5" thick! Can't wait. I'm online looking for a small bag for the back of the cargo plus rack just for tools and a couple small items that's how I ended up on your channel cause you mention the rack in your description...so that paid off lol. I like getting on by sliding on from the back of the bike. I'm 6'5" so that's perfect for me. Good luck with your channel, I'll be starting a channel this fall sometime too. Work is just too busy right now for time to do that.

    The shock is fine it seems nobody want to actually adjust the thing. You can adjust it by getting an air shock pump or by rotating the two collars.

    • @E-RiderHub
      @E-RiderHub  Год назад

      My latest video has a better top speed run, but I'll start using a GPS app for the true speed soon. Go check it out!

    • @En4cer2K9
      @En4cer2K9 Год назад

      If you get a phone mount, your GPS app can tell you. OR, you can go into the advanced settings and change the wheel size to 22, which will pretty much match what the GPS says.

    • @BONGE33
      @BONGE33 Год назад

      @En4cer2K9 you can just keep your phone in your pocket...yes I do know how to get gps info. I do not have this bike, hence why I was wondering what the real top speed is

    Hey man I’m so glad I came across your video. I’m just about to move to San Francisco from London. I want to buy either ArielRider X Class 52V or Ride1Up Revv 1 but im not sure which one is a better performer overall. My main concern is the X Class 52V fast or powerful enough to have real presence in the road and can it deal with SF hills?
    Also, whats the real top speed and range of this bike? Do you think I’ll be able to get 30 miles out of a full charge between 25 to 30 MPH?
    I have consistently heard SF is a crime ridden city and your car, bike or whatever else will most likely be broken into or just stolen!
    How do you effectively keep your bike safe and secured?

    • @E-RiderHub
      @E-RiderHub  11 месяцев назад

      Thanks for commenting. The x class is more than enough for the hills out here. Keep in mind you won't be going 20+mph up the steepest hills but the bike will get there. I have a couple other vids showing what the bike can do uphill.
      Top speed is around 35 mph and 30 miles is probably the max range you'll get riding at 30 mph throttle only (depending on your weight). Range gets extended a ton when you use pedal assist.
      Lastly I have a video coming out soon that will show how I lock up the bike. I use a kryptonite lock and have an extra chain lock just in case. I wouldn't leave it locked for more than a few hours as most angle grinders can cut through the best locks

    • @E-RiderHub
      @E-RiderHub  11 месяцев назад +1

      Also I was debating the rev1 vs the x-class as well. Rev 1 wins slightly in the looks department despite me loving how the x class looks. But the x class has a gear shifter for when I want to actually pedal and has slightly more torque than the rev 1. Let me know what you decide to go with

    If you ride smarter you can easily get 75 miles of range i don't think any of these companies expect people to ride at full speed throttle only because thats illegal in alot of place but some people buy these things as cheap motercycles not electric bikes

    • @E-RiderHub

      A lot of people add a 52v triangle battery which they connect in parallel using a parallel connector. There are also some videos of people adding front turn signals but you either need to do your own wiring or get a 12v kit for them

      Out of the box it's street legal. There's a setting you change to enable top speed, but as long as you go 20 mph max in bike lanes you won't be bothered.
      The bike also has a class 2 sticker in case you get pulled over. Police haven't bothered me yet
