Catching Trains in Southwest Ohio

  • Southwest Ohio is a good place to catch trains. While some of the spots aren’t as popular as in northern and Central Ohio, and northwest Ohio, Southwest Ohio does have a lot of trains, the busiest lines without question are the CSX Toledo Sub and BS New Castle District, with the NS Dayton District seeing the fewest. We’ll see trains on each of these 3 lines in one day. While there’s wasn’t a lot the power was diverse and pretty interesting with a special 142 on the new Castle District.
