This guy is just a pleasant person to listen to talk about fishing. B&M rods were nowhere on my radar for crappie fishing, but now i'm interested in trying them out after seeing him use the SharpShooter rod
@@BrandonLesterFishing check out the sams super sensitive rods from BnM. They are super ultralight but have plenty of backbone. I am with you on the sharp shooters. A bit stiff for me but the sams 7 ft is the best rod I have ever used for crappie. Enjoy the videos!
My lake has a dam on the end that's 14ft deep the rest of the lake is 8-10 pretty flat. Do you think they would be there or in the creek channels feeding the lake (some have deep spots) water gets hot in summer
First video i've watched of yours, Brandon. I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it. Learned a few things in the process too. Thanks for sharing what line and knot you were using, i'll have to give both of them a try!
Un vídeo con buenas tomas de la pesca de la crappie, y excelente presentación del señuelo con el qué se está pescando, es un señuelo crappie Magnet, el color está súper, gracias por esté vídeo.
You converted me to vicious 4 lb test high viz line after you showed me how to spool it in your Live well. Now I'm going to try your loop knot because it seems like an easy one to tie. By the way congratulations you had a really good year on the Bass Tour. 😁👌
Another awesome video! I'm not to sure anyone has mentioned it but everytime you open that front hatch I notice 2 things. 1 how organized it is, 2 the pictures of your kids super cool! Which dawia are you running on your Sharpshooter?
Good observation! I try to stay as organized as possible on the water, it makes me more efficient. The pictures of my wife and kids is something my wife does for me every year. It’s nice to be able to open that lid and see their smiling faces, especially when I’ve been on the road for a couple weeks. Thanks for watching!
I love the B&M Shooter myself but dude that reel is amazing! Looks cool, nice handle and the drag is amazing!!! What reel is it if you don’t mind? Thanks!
I Caught A Big Flathead Catfish Crappie Fishing One Night Same Deal 4LB Line 5 1/2 Ft UltraLight Rod With A Bobby Garland Micro Jig I Posted It On My Channel
Your videos would be alot better if your arms didnt block the fish being brought to the boat. Cant see much until the fish is out of the water. Otherwise great videos. Awesome crappie.
Caught Some Good Crappy, I actually been using a few of the Crappy Bites just for good luck ,I'm still on the fence if it's helping or not ,Most of this stuff is A "Confidence" thing , Bait Colors, Jig Weights , Hair Jigs Vs Plastic , it's all about What you trust and have Confidence In ,If you have confidence in a Bait your gonna fish it more than others , I do it myself , but hey when ya find what's working give it to em ,that's my theory anyway , I was a Minnow Fisherman for Crappie for a long time , about 39 years ago I Discovered The Slaters Hair Jigs , Solid Black , Or Black With a Red, White, or Yellow Jig head ,But ALWAYS Black,, I had Confidence In That and Guarenteed I Pulled Many Crappy Over The Gunnels , NOW , I use Minnows in extreme bite conditions , Or Night Fishing With Green Lights Minnows Are the Ticket, BUT I use A Lotta Plastics Like Some Electric Chicken Color ,,the Ole Cajun Craw Color By Bobby Garland , And I've Found A Online Company Called "Lake Country Baits" Lotsa Colors And Diffrent Body Styles Thats working Good Down In Deep South Mississippi Too, 💦🐟🎣🤠

Man congratulations on a great year. Ok now I'm ready to see some crappie fishing, great video as always brother
Thank you 👍🏻
How do you feel about jig head color? I don't really think it matters, but I tie jigs and I paint the heads but I think it's just a person thing...
Good to see you back on those crappie again! Congratulations on your season with B.A.S.S.

Always enjoy your videos. What lake were you fishing on this video?
What Kind Of Crappie Magnets You Use...?
What kind of reel is that? Looks like a diawa of some sort. Love the crappie videos you put out and the sound of that drag on that reel.
It is a diawa 2500 size reel. Not sure of the model. Thanks for watching!
I love the B&M Shooter myself but dude that reel is amazing! Looks cool, nice handle and the drag is amazing!!! What reel is it if you don’t mind? Thanks!
Diawa legalis. Inexpensive and a dang good reel for crappie. Thanks for watching!
@@BrandonLesterFishing Thanks!!!!
Really enjoy your channel. Big ole slabs and nice flat head.
Thanks. Appreciate you watching!
Hey Brandon what rod do you prefer for shooting docks?
Anything 6-7ft long. Light to med-light action. Thanks for watching!
Lester you're the only man I know who swings harder than me with 4lbs line lol. Can't help it when you love that thump can you?
That’s the bass fisherman in me I guess lol. Thanks for watching!
Dude I kept hearing you say black nose and I thought it was just slang for a black crappie but sure enough.. it’s a black nose crappie 😂😂
What lowrance unit is that?
Hds 12 Live
@@BrandonLesterFishing thank you
The Slab Bites are the real deal!
I’m starting to use them more and more. They definitely work and will get you a few extra bites!
Looks like Pickwick.
I would take the cat home ! No telling how it will hurt the crappie fishing !
Reel Ratio?
6:2:1. Thanks for watching!
