Great video...your crappie videos are awesome u show and teach i like the small plastic videos as well as all the crappie videos just keep'em comin. It doesn't get any better than catchin them crappie on smaller plastics thank u James H.
I use small baits in the summer when the bite gets really tough. Sometimes it's the only thing they will hit. I pour my own plastics and I do hand ties so I have alot of options. I really enjoy your crappie videos.
Thanks for sharing this great info Brother. I like 1- 1/2 bait just about all year. Man I still have a hard time believing that you haven't picked up a lot more subs, this is one of the best Crappie fishing channels I watch. Great video, Keep the videos coming Brandon.
Awesome info. I fish Grandlake Oklahoma and only chase crappie. I also will use small baits. Mostly small hand ties. But will get some of those baits to try out. Thanks for the videos
@@BrandonLesterFishing your welcome. Really enjoy all your videos. Just learning to dock shoot docks. Picked up some itty bitty baits today. Hope to get to try them this week. You get up this way let me know. Like to meet ya. Good luck
I love small profile jigs nothing bigger than 2" with 1/32 oz jig.. I remember seeing you earlier this year at Lake Harris in Leesburg FL, that's my home lake.. love your content on bass and crappie
Man I love your videos, very easy to listen to. I fish old hickory and peircy priest when i can get out. Wanting to try some cappie fishing. Would the loop knot be benificial for say a swimbait when bass fishing?
I’ve played around with it some but most of the stuff we use in the bass world is heavy enough it doesn’t make as much of a difference. It does have its place though. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for reloading it Brandon! Great video. Please show us forward facing sonar beginners your screen from time to time. Appreciate all of your tips.
So, I have just found your channel, and enjoy your easy going tips on being better at catching crappie. Are you dragging your jig on the bottom of the brush pile? Are they sitting at the bottom? Or is your jig catching them on the way down? Do they bite stuff on the bottom? Obviously they bite what you are presenting, and I am envious of both your weather and your fishing skills.
I am reeling my bait just above the brush pile and the fish are coming up and eating it as it comes by. Check out some of my other videos for a more in depth look. Thanks for watching!
Freaky Frank's mean green freak worm and 1/32 with 1/32 weight above. Small baits stay in the strike zone longer and give better presentation. I'll be picking up these Bobby Garland baits soon. Thanks.
Went up day before yesterday..which was Friday, and they were biting good in the rain..found some schools on livescope and threw the sho nuff and knocked em out
@@BrandonLesterFishing understood. On another note only got through to the point where all u did was look at the live scope non stop. That lite u r telling everyone about will work a lot less with out live scope. U make ur audience think that if the bite is tough that lure will get them to smack. The problem is that u need to inform ur audience ,which most of will not have live scope, that they don’t stand a chance unless they can video game fish and watch their bait on a live scope monitor and literally see the hit. Let be honest here if it was that easy u wouldn’t be looking at that screen literally every cast 🤦♂️. Either way I’ll give u credit at-least u r throwing them back unlike most crappie fisherman live scoping them to non existence
What a good day on the lake! Just about perfect weather 👍🏻

One thing I haven’t played around with much is hair jig. I have some but I guess I’m more confident in plastic. Thanks for watching!

New to your videos. Enjoying them. One question what kind of paint are you dipping them in. Is it a liquid or powder. Thanks
What kind of scent attractant do you use?

Never crappie fished on priest but think I may try it soon. Thanks for watching!
@@BrandonLesterFishing If you come in the winter or early spring the lake will be at winter pool, so watch for the shallow areas!
I will have to try it. Thanks

Great video
What jig head did you use
Beautiful lake. No houses. Corps of Engineer lake?
What jigs are using with the small hook?
1 inch gulp minow has been my go to for years
I use it some but it tears up way too easy. Only downfall to that little bait, but your right it will catch them. Thanks for watching!
Brandon what state are you fishing?? I have watched several video but have never heard a name of the lake.
I’m in Tennessee. Thanks for watching!
Sweet. I’m from North MS and fish pickwick lake a lot. Maybe one day I’ll run into you down this way.
Brandon, are you on Norris?

I will have to check that bait out. Thanks for watching!
Sheesh, catching so much it looks like a short starting over
I like big baits and I can not lie...
I use the bigger size here on Chickamauga for crappie.
Never tried the bigger one but I plan to. Thanks for watching!
@@BrandonLesterFishing I just went to Bass Pro an bought some of the small ones to try tomorrow on Chickamauga.

Man I've been trying to find crappie for the last few years but without electronics it's so hard to find them especially on Tims
Go to 11:15 when you threw the crappie back an watch the other fish come to the surface close by you in the bottom left corner😂😬🎣
I saw that when I was editing the video. Thanks for watching!
Catch ‘em with out live scope then u will impress
I’m not trying to impress anybody bud but thanks for the view 👍🏻
