  • Replacing Tyres and the torque settings, now this was the first time I ever did this, well I mean took the wheels off the GS on the sky lift in an attempt to save some money, I'm not entirely sure I did!
    maybe you can tell me?

    Spoiler alert😂 All the torque settings you need are in that thing called the Rider's Manual from page 187 onwards....I know, I can hear you now saying no one likes a smartarse. Another little tip for the rear is take the bottom bolt out last and put it back 1st holding the rim in place with your knee against the tyre at the bottom as that stops the rear wheel kicking out at the bottom and potentially falling off the hub and scratching the rims. Looking forward to hearing about what you think of the CTA3s compared to the OE tyres😉
    Forgot to add, you should remove the front ABS sensor too before taking the wheel out so you don't accidentally damage it when removing or installing the front wheel.

    Great Job teaching ! Would be fantastic if you add the brand name of tools and size torx and bit used. My regards from Monterrey, Mexico

    My local charges £15 for fitting and balancing too, so not unreasonable given the time it takes; for me any less would concern me about the quality of the fit as there’s pressure sensors to worry about👍

    For me it’s worth it, I also have the sky lift and prefer to torque up and install myself

    Enjoyed the video! What tyres did you have, and how many miles did you get out of them?

    • @SmileyoureonTV
      @SmileyoureonTV  4 года назад

      they were the road 5's and they lasted about 7k miles, front was fine but it needed to go at the same time
