Currently assigned a multi specialty pediatric project to work on along with my podiatry assignment. Not a lot of experience in pediatric specialty. Thanks for all your help.

Hi! I’ve just finished checking out the masterclass. I didn’t see an option to contact you. I have a MYCAA Grant which is provided for military spouses. I’m just wondering if you guys are in partnership and accept it? Also, I will be relocating to Japan from California. I know the course is self-paced so it won’t be a problem, but what about getting a job afterwards from overseas remotely? Time difference will he the challenge but I think it can still work if the company is okay with me working remotely as long as I’m ok with working with their time frame and hours as well. Not sure if you know anyone in similar situation. I would like to be able to make my own hours but I’m not sure if there’s any company doing that. Can you help answer my questions? I’d really appreciate it. Thank you for all your videos!

What opportunities do you have for me?

First, thank you for your videos. They are so well done, and even entertaining . Now here's my situation: I am NOT a coder--yet. I live in South Carolina. Our governor signed a bill into law that allowed people who were laid off of jobs due to COVID to go back to school and get training. I chose Medical Coding. Here's my problem: I accidentally chose the tract that did NOT have a voucher for the test, and even says that it does NOT prepare the student for test. Also, I have gone to AAPC's website and I cannot get any contact info for the local chapter w/o joining AAPC. I actually did well in my course--which is now over.
Please, help. Do you have ANY advice on how I can pursue certification at this point?

For what it's worth. In Sept of 2021, I took a job working as a phone/switchboard operator for the local hospital. It would seem that this might give me an "in" but I've been unable to get a reply from any of the medical coders I've emailed.

I recently completed MB&C courses provided by our community center. But we study only theoretical questions to pass test for certificate, we never had a SINGLE practical lesson. Now I have a certificate but no idea how to start working. I am 63 years old, so being apprentice for several years not an option for me. But I have been working in IT field all my life (programmer, software tester), I have Masters of Science degree and most of the time I learned new skills by myself so I am a quick learner. Could you recommend something for me, because I feel lost now.

Hi there, I have been watching your videos. I could use your wisdom please. I am 47 and want to go to school for medical coding and billing. I am signed up for a medical terminology course at an accredited college to start..but could use some suggestions on steps to take from there. If you were starting right now fresh what steps and courses would you take and which exams would you prioritize, which additional certificates if any would you choose to embark on? I need a plan, and I don't know enough yet to formulate one entirely. If you would be willing to share your suggestions for someone newly starting and older, so not having all the new fresh brain cells that younger people do LOL and that's okay!!! any direction suggestions? please and thank you! I haven't started the MT course yet..next month!!!
