I just found out about “Prayer Bible’s” days ago through RUclips. 🎉 The Sisterita Club is an awesome ministry. I was telling my friend about a Prayer Bible & told her that I am going to do one with washi tape because of all of the designs, ease of getting, and cost. Tonight I found this video & thought “great minds”. 😊 Thank you for sharing your walk & about this ministry. This will elevate my walk with the Lord in a way that I have so longed for! God bless ❤
Sweetness I just want to tell you how much this prayer Bible has changed my life I have tried the prayer room and other prayer methods but when I took all of my scriptures off the walls and out of my binders and scripture cards and put them in my Bible and prayed straight from the scriptures everything changed for me and I've been having continued breakthrough thank you I see how important your work is doing these vlogs thank You for sharing

I absolutely love using my prayer Bible. I’m going to share it with a friend next week. I have never used the Bible this much. We are reading the Bible thru this year with the Bible Recap. Each night we read from a devotional magazine called A Closer Walk. My prayer Bible is so special, I use it while waiting at a store or running errands. It’s so amazing. Thank you so much for the videos. I’m so glad that your video came up a couple of weeks ago. ❤ 😊

You can make bible tabs with cardboard or just a thick material and washitape to decorate the tab, just look for different ideas un RUclips
I just want to share something that may be helpful to someone else. Repositionable tabs were important to me but,
I didn't want to be locked into the colors of tabs at the office supply and i didn't want to spend a lot.
I ended up getting a little pack of 100 plain, 2 inch tabs. I put washi from my stash on some(double stick tape as the washi came off easy) and color some with markers i already had. They are unique and i love them! Some would say a hot mess but that's me most days so...
Use what you have sisters.

My prayer Bible is a witnessing tool I was in the Hospital had major surgery on my back.And I had so much peace.
Love my prayer bible. I use it daily. Now I will be making one for my sister-in-law as a gift. I also started a prayer journal and have decorated that similar to the Bible. Went to the dollar store and picked up many pretty stickers which I’m using in the journal. Thank you for your videos which have helped me pray for others! ❤️😊
Thank you for making these videos. I felt called to pray more but didn't know how to go about it, but THIS is perfect! I also didn't want to buy a bunch of tabs but I have SO much washi tape!! Brilliant!! God bless
I’ve been experimenting w/ buying & making tabs, trying to keep my Pr. B. costs down.
Today, wanting to do fancy tabs for the ‘Attributes of God’, I thot of the rolls of glitter & mirror finish (iridescent) vinyl paper from $1 Tree I had used for Christmas cards & tags. Would it work for tabs???
Oh, they are perfect & SO pretty!!! I just covered card stock w/ the sticky-back vinyls; cut some into 1/2” rectangles & also used my 2 tab-cutting dies. Fold in 1/2; glue stick the inside of tabs & stick them on.
Not as quick as sticky tabs, but you can make 100’s for pennies. (I had the silver glitter, rose gold glitter, silver iridescent, & gold glitter paper. Made a nice assortment.)
$1 Tree prob has many other colors as well.
After drying, they are permanent tho. So, make sure you place them right the first time.

I'm matching colors of tabs, highlighters and pen ink for each theme.
I believe it’s a Mr.Pen gel highlighter.
I’m loving these different themes and what’s awesome is this would work so beautifully in a war binder/prayer journal !!

I love those highlighters… have used them forever. But I really like using colored pencil to highlight in a coordinated color in these prayer bibles.

@@thesisteritaclub7744 You have helped me get closer to God. My sister died last July. Since then I've been more interested in my Christian beliefs. My dad got me the bible I wanted in September for my birthday. I prayed about finding a way to studying. Then a few weeks later I found that video early in the prayer bible series. I'm making my mom one as well for Christmas. She is all for it she said I know her so well more than anybody and I know what themes she will want. A member from the Sisterita Facebook group gave me a compact bible, highlights and tabs. She was offering it for free. My mom couldn't believe she didn't want to be paid back or me do something in return. I wanted the lady to know I'm paying it forward by giving it to my mom. Our of respect for her privacy I won't mention the woman's name who gave my mom the bible and supplies. Without her I couldn't have afforded what she sent. My mom needs this now more than ever. I do think God sent your channel my way on purpose. I also have several hundred rolls of washi. I have two different size tab punches. You don't know how much you've helped me and you will help my mom when she gets her prayer bible. I will share your channel link with her.

Can I ask you all Sisteritas….. I am à reasonably young Christian. My desire in making my prayer Bible is to grow closer to my saviour. To use scriptures to fix my eyes on the author and perfector of our faith. One of my tabs will be for my Church ministry partners. That to me cover’s salvation for others, courage, protection, wisdom, walking in truth etc. my question is this - is it wrong and selfish for me to make a tab about my personal walk with the Lord? That I might grow in wisdom, courage, understanding the word, to be more like the Proverbs 31 woman. Of course some other tabs are about honouring gods attributes, praising him and giving thanks for all his grace and gifts. I guess I don’t want my prayers just to be a wish list.

How do you find the verse without tabs being labeled?
Add card stock inside the tape. I made tabs like this before but they become so limp after a week of so.
Do you have a key somewhere where you know what topic/theme each color is for? I have started using my prayer bible in the morning, which I really like, and am thinking about adding more themes. I hadn't thought about using washi, even though I have used it as tabs elsewhere!

I’m making a guide to put in the front of my Bible. It has the colored tab & pencil used w/ each subject.
Example:
PROTECTION
Blue tab, blue underlining pencil

You can find Bibles (often new) at most thrift stores for almost nothing. Then just use colored pencils I’m sure you have since you have kids. (Or crayons, markers…) to underline verses. For tabs you can tape on almost anything. Ribbon is something I haven’t yet seen mentioned that you might have around.
It will be even more precious to you if you ask God to show you creative ways to use what you’ve got. I can say it gives me such joy when I find what I need to craft w/ out of the day’s junk mail!
The most important thing is the Word-not how it’s decorated! Ask God to give you a Bible as it is the ‘desire of your heart.’ Then trust that He will. Blessings!
If no other option, they have Bibles to check out at the library. Maybe do that as you wait on God to supply you your own?
