Very good job I think your opinions are more than honest and fair. I'm happy to see Indian Challenger as another fine choice. I would love to have one . Thanks for your videos I enjoy watching them.
Great review, I’ve said it b4 as a H-D RGU owner. Props Indian for putting so many features on a stock bike that you have to pay extra for on a H-D. Auto Locking bags, sport mode, adjustable wind screen, just to name a few. That sport mode on the challenger WOW!

My Triumph was liquid cooled.. and it was awesome. I'm buying a new bike in March sometime.. and I'm looking at the Chieftain and Challenger. I've ridden the Chieftain several times and loved it.. but I'm gonna ride the Challenger before deciding. I know how good a liquid cooled motor can be so it'll be a tough choice.
It's nice to see an honest opinion the trunks actually fit! They fitted one in Denton Texas for me and clips right on! Don't let other dealerships feed you garbage! I got my trunk and I'm designing my own lowers. Did a cat delete and the sound is more awesome. Stereo upgrade speakers in the bags and the trunk speakers are hooked up I'm designing my lowers to fit 6.5 inch speakers I might go 6X9 I've got time spring is a ways off.
You say you are starting to like the fairing, but it is HUGE. I don't think my mind will change. Pretty bags, nice tank, great forks, cool engine, GIANT FAIRING! Good vid, thx Adam.
Indian didn't just hit the mark... they blew a hole through the competition with a 50. cal... (btw 8:07 LOOK AT THAT THING!) The Bagger Championship results speak for themselves. Thanks to them, Harley is finally getting off their ass and dusting off the bullcrap they call innovation.
Great vid. I was so encouraged when I found out you had a bad accident and got right back on. I recently had a bad accident that almost took off my leg but I plan on getting back in when I'm all healed up...
I own a 2014 Heritage Softail, a bike I’ve wanted since the 80’s. I love it and will keep it. It rides great and has a lot of great features: abs, counter balance engine, keyless, 6-speed, great looks (I prefer the look to the new Heritage), etc. However, I GOT to get the Challenger for my next bike!! To have both...oh yes!! ...Oh, and, Adam...gotta love this guy’s review. Great job, brother! A real pro with an objective viewpoint.
Thanks Adam. Good honest review and I take merit on the fact of how impressed you are with this bike. I would own an Indian right now but we have no nearby Indian dealers here. I can see an Indian Challenger in my future tho. I have yet to touch one but will see one at the International Motorcycle Show in Cleveland next month. Can’t wait. I presently ride a 2017 RGU like you, so I’m sure it would be a seamless transition. Think I’ll wait to see what options they offer on the 2021’s. Maybe travel trunk or lowers?
Thanks for the vid. I just wanted to tell you about your ASR dog bowls. We were stuck in 113-degree weather in Australia delivering Christmas gifts to those less fortunate than us. Of course, we took our Australian Kelpie dog, and it saved her life in the heat. I had those collapsible bowls in the car, and our dog was safe! With bush fires raging, it could save the life of our wildlife or our precious furry friends.
Really like the fact that Adam is able to give a review after some extensive miles on a bike. 90% of reviews are those that just ride it from a demo day and most everyone is going to be enamored with a new/different bike no matter what they test ride. No fault to any other reviewer, it is what it is, just glad that there are those like Adam that are able to give the goods an d bads of some actual time in the saddle.
Man I hate doing 1 time ride reviews (sadly I have done a few) I love it so much more when I can get these miles down. It always looks a bit different after miles.
Just ordered my 2021 Dark Horse Challenger last week. Opted for the stage 2 with the upgraded audio and all the goodies. Definitely can't wait to see how it compares to my Victory Cross Country.
Job well done on the introduction and interview of the Challenger. Lot of questions about this new comer and NOT really being an Indian fan, only 3,4 models; I like. But the Challenger is truly a great looking motorcycle. Especially when, REALLY leaning towards the Harley-Davidson Road Glide; I really enjoyed and admire since 2006. I own a 1992 Goldwing 1500 SE . A motorcycle really stacked with accessories. You answered many concerns of mine as far as HANDLING, Quality, Speed and motor design and power. The Challenger looks great! Fun to ride. I'll keep watch for further blogs.
Thanks for this outstanding, impartial review and comments. I respect your opinion very much since you are a motorcyclist and not just a brand biker. We rarely buy new bikes, but, this may end up at our shop sometime next year. Thanks again, and ride safe my friend!
Went in to look at the new Cheif bobber and saw the Challenger 🤘🏻😲🤘🏻 !!! Id NEVER been attracted to a Harley bagger but THIS just floored me! I need to Demo one. Thx fer the breakdown
This is what riders need. Good solid motorcycles .competition is good for all riders when people get stuck on brand the brand starts sticking it to the riders .keep up the good work and God bless America.
Thank you for the review, been contemplating a move to the Challenger. Will always appreciate my HD Fatboy, but also appreciating the upgrades and the pricing Indian is offering. Thanks again, Adam.
I think it's awesome to see some competion in the performance bagger market, wich we all know makes things better for the consumer. I've never been the guy to ride what everyone else was riding(I ride a 10' Victory XR) and I had mixed emotions about the challenger when I first saw it, but now that I've seen one in person, I think Indian hit the nail on the head as far as the competition goes! Indian did a really great job engineering this bike!
That traction control, and lean angle assist is NO JOKE. less that 100 miles on my new Challenger, and it had already helped me out on a kick out under acceleration on a big patch of construction dirt, and a slip out on gravel around a corner at speed. Not situations where I would of dumped or laid down, but bike had the issue corrected before I could correct them. Just like Adam said.
Was really looking forward to your review on this bike. It's a bike the I'm definitely interested in and it's great to have an unbiased opinion on the matter. I enjoy the channel and everything you stand for bro, thank you for the great vids!
I loved the review. I think all bikes have a purpose and fit to each riders individual tastes. I rode on rockets in my earlier years and still have a passion for the performance side of riding. Getting older and having knees that don't cooperate led me to the 'performance' bagger bikes. Can't wait to sling a leg over the Challenger once the weather cooperates here in Minnesota. Ride safe....
That was just a good honest review. No hype, or being dramatic about it. I own a 2014 HD Ultra Limited, I do not complain about performance. I came from a Suzuki GSXr 1000, to a Hayabusa that had all the performance you ever wanted. From what my experience taught me as a 26 yr LEO, the size of the cc's doesn't matter... They will all take you to the scene of the crash if you are riding beyond your ability. Choose what you like, and ride it until the wheels fall off. Great review!!!!
Great review Adam. I got to ride one about a month ago and man did I like it. Actually had me thinking of trading my Harley which I just bought. I like my Harley though too just wish it had a few things the Indian did. Beautiful and great riding machine in my opinion. Recommend anyone in the market for a new bike in this style give the Challenger a hard look.
Oh great... I had pretty much decided on the bike I wanted this summer. Thanks Mr. Adam now for more research. Parting thought. I had previously taken Indian off the list because they lacked dealerships and I was concerned about parts/maintenance issues.
Adam- Thanks for the honest review. I am happy to see competition in this marketplace as it can only enhance offerings from my favorite American brand H-D. Ride Safe!
Very fair review! From your description of the type of rider you are , we are the same. I am a long distance soul. I have a Roadmaster that I am very happy with but when the time comes , this will be my next bike. The trunk version of course which Indian will probably release next model year if history is any indicator.
Good Review Adam, I will say for myself that I completely agree with your review and rider opinions regarding the Challenger. I and many other Indian rider enthusiast have been following this new bike since it was first leaked within the Indian community about a year ago however, I'm not just a follower. I am also a owner of the Indian Challenger-Limited model too. It is truly a sport touring bagger motorcycle and Indian nailed it right out of the box. This bike has power, it rides and handles like a dream, it has great styling and the technology built into this bike is easy to learn and it performs absolutely great. I'll also bet this bike platform will go from cost to coast without missing a beat.
Bagger Drag racing is getting popular now . Indian says it's 122 HP but that's Gross HP Adam has had big $$$ invested into his other kits having big bore kits and hotter cams installed.. Then they were tuned and tested on a rear wheel Dyno.. Rear Wheel HP is a bit less than flywheel HP
Being an HD owner does not make the bikes any better or worse because you own one.. Test Riding different brands might wake you up to how Inferior HD has been for decades.. I think they are suddenly rushing to improve.. HD has lot of aftermarket parts like Shocks to improve them. they fact you need to put aftermarket suspension on them shows how much room there is for improvement..
@@mikeskidmore6754 very true HD needs to step up power out of the box and better suspension and a totally liquid cooled bike....on the challenger you really don't notice the radiator as it blends in so well...I haven't test RIDDEN one yet but daaaaaaaaaayum it seems to have game changer WRITTEN all over it and I own 2 HD touring bikes...I'm a. HD loyalist but I'm so digging this bike
This is Victory performance continuing on under the Indian name. Some people don't like it but I think it's great. I have two Victorys and when they get the Challenger a little more refined I may pick one up.
I test rode it. Great Machine and im very interested in owning one. And totally agree with just about everything you said. I would also add some Highway bar and pegs, and hope Indian make a trunk to add to it.
I'm still a new guy, but I feel like the Challenger fixed a lot of my problems I had with the street/road glide. I just read how bad for the environment motorcycles are, so to see the potential for this bike to be better for the plant than any of the baggers HD has made me think I'm going to be an Indian guy
Nice fair review Adam. I have an Indian Road Master and when the Challenger first came out, I thought it was butt ugly but not anymore. It has grown on me to the point of possibly considering owning. Haven't ridden it yet but I will hopefully soon.
I think you did a good job on the review. I like most motorcycles, but because I can’t afford to buy 10-12, I buy what I like best for me, and my wife gives me her in put as well. I currently have a Victory Cross Country Tour ( pipes and Lloydz air filter, Stage 1) and a Indian Road Master (Lloydz cams, intake and RC Components slipons, stage 2). My next bike will be a Challenger. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not bashing Harley-Davidson or any other brand (there’s a few Harley-Davidson’s I would like to have), but for me for now I like the Challenger. Again good job
Well after waiting for nearly 2 months after putting down my deposit, I'll be picking mine up next Friday. It came in Saturday. Gotta work all week. Gonna be a long week of waiting.
@@road_king_dude I have the tab performance bam sticks on the way along with the Indian stage 1 breather. Also ordered the heated grips and front/rear highway bars.
Very good review Adam. I like the in-depth analysis of the specs, and your opinion as a mile junky. Probably the best review I've seen. It makes me, even as a Road Glide Special owner, very interested in this bike. Keep up the good work.
Adam, First things first, I said it before and I will say it again..you make absolutely the best review videos on the internet! You tell it like it is with no bias or agenda, and lay down the actual miles to base a accurate real world view straight from the saddle. Adam, having a liquid cooled engine is one thing, BUT I do have to ask, are their cooling fans in front of the radiator like all modern cars have??? Because if not, this bike will over heat in a traffic jam, I know from experience!
Thanks for posting, great review. I hope Indian has a full up touring version in the works based on the Challenger. I was considering a reluctant move to a Goldwing, but the Challenger has given me an V-Twin American option.
Excellent review Adam, looks like a Win, Win, for the customer, any time another manufacturer goes on a shooting match, the customer always wins, can’t wait to see what Harley comes up with, I have to admit I’m like WOW!! knowing how much technology Indian throws in with out price gouging Thanks Indian you made your point 👍🏼
This definitely makes it harder for me to decide between a Road Glide and Challenger. I hate that Indian doesn't have all of the aftermarket choices that HD has. So if I can get over that, Indian is what I will get.
Great review... thanks! Personally ride a 13 Ultra Classic (last of the older school), and well satisfied. Have a friend who's seriously contemplating the Challenger! Appreciate your presentation and close out... Blessings! :)
I agree 100% that the fixed fairing isn't a stab at being a "copycat". I'm gonna have to test ride one of these challengers when I get ready for another bike. I love my heritage, it'll take me anywhere and is quiet comfy. But I do plan on getting a touring model I'm the future. And like you, I'm not biased towards any brand and not stuck on just one brand.
Great review. When I saw the first one in my area at the dealership I and my wife fell in love with the new look. The only drawback we found was the fixed headlight. We are so accustomed to having the headlight turn with the bars to light up the way at all times. With that said I may need to test ride one and find out what it is like in the day and night riding.
How brother, thanks for the review! I went and saw this machine at the local dealership and the pictures dont do it justice! Thanks for the info man and keep it upright!
Of course I enjoyed the video! Always great to check your reviews! I am sure your opinions are honest and true, as they have always been in reviews. Looking forward to some more miles on the Indians and your take on them. I also don't enjoy the comparison and I think each brand has its style and public and appeal. You are blessed for riding them all, two or four wheels!
I always said I’ll own a Harley and an Indian. I have a custom 2017 Harley Davidson breakout. Looks like my bagger will be the Indian challenger when I’m done paying off the breakout.
i agree with what you've said, i have not ridden one yet, but hope to at 2020's Laconia Bike week, but i have ridden the Indian Vintage and the Springfield, and i fell in love, but while i was Saving for a Vintage a local Honda Dealer offered $18,995 MSRP Leftover 2014/15 Goldwing F6C Valkyrie's for $9995 brand new full warranty and i test Rode a demo the dealer had with my wife on the back and and she leaned over halfway thru the test ride and said BUY IT !! and i did, and since i'm now 60, i will be a goldwing guy i think the rest of my life.
Been a Victory rider since 2006, i have had four Vics since never had issues with them and still enjoy my XC. Polaris took all the R&D from the Victory brand and all the upgrades that they used on this bike were to be used on Victory. the muscle bike was first started by Victory.
Thanks to be back with two wheels videos. This bike is to expensive for my wallet, but seems well done. Why you compare the options with a car? Two different kinds... Great video, hope to see more😎. Cheers from France
Adam, it is really nice to see that Indian came with a liquid cooled V-Twin power cruiser. Of course BMW and Honda have addressed this a ways back. But their styling is not for everyone. It is nice to have the choice. I can't wait to see what Harley will answer with. I will stick with my GoldWing, it has what I need as I ride two up about 80 percent of the time and gosh knows Mama has to have her stuff. LOl Glad to see you are doing better with your neck and shoulder. Keep up the good work and thanks for the video's
Richard Griffin Goldwing and beemers are different animals in some ways. They are built function first. The challenger tries to bridge that from form first cruisers and its the right direction, but for 29k, I have better choices. I ride one the vast majority of the time. I came from riding vulcans too and tried victory and HD before buying a 2009 RT 9 years ago. It was like riding a bike again. What I would like to see is an american answer to the RT. Quick detachable panniers and topcase that are air tight and can hold full face helmets, handling like on rails, world class brakes, big gas tank for extended range. It hasn’t happened yet. Maybe Indian will come out with something like that. We’ll see.
I have one of those 2019 Kawasaki Vaquero shown @14:03 and have to say for the price is a great machine with plenty of power, fixed fairing, radio and a few other things not as tech guided as the challenger but also not as pricey. Would love to get a Challenger but is out of my price range at this moment. Thanks for your reviews and also thanks for your support to the Veterans community.

I have a 114....I. looking at one of these now.....because frankly....Harley can go f×ck themselves. I dont care if its Polaris.
Dayummmm
Truth hurts!
So, they wanted one and bought one to do it their way...
@@AM0908 And still get their clocks cleaned by a stock Challenger. 😂

Your reviews always seem to be unbiased and fair which makes me look forward to hearing your opinions. Thanks for sharing!!
Adam your reviews are so great, Thanks!
Indian didn't just hit the mark... they blew a hole through the competition with a 50. cal... (btw 8:07 LOOK AT THAT THING!)
The Bagger Championship results speak for themselves. Thanks to them, Harley is finally getting off their ass and dusting off the bullcrap they call innovation.
Picking my challenger up on Friday! Just wish I didn’t live in Minnesota right now so I could ride her
You answered some of the questions I had about you electronic systems I can't wait to test drive one impossibly by 1
Great review. Didn't show any bias toward any particular company. This video will definitely make me go sample the Indian motorcycle.
I think you will be glad you did 👊
Simply a fantastic review! This is why you are equally liked by Harley and Indian fans. Well done sir
Great job Adam! I appreciate your passion, authenticity, and knowledge. Very impressed with the Challenger.
Great vid. I was so encouraged when I found out you had a bad accident and got right back on. I recently had a bad accident that almost took off my leg but I plan on getting back in when I'm all healed up...
Hey Martin, you'll be back.. hang in there my brother American👍
I thank you for an honest review. My husband and I love the way you say it like it is.
Glad you mentioned the smart lean. I was also skeptical, but glad to hear your experience. Considering one of these for my next machine.
Harry I love this story. Glad the pup is safe 🐕
Black Challenger Dark horse all fitted out like the road master is my dream bike.
Now that it's been a year, how are you liking it? I'm on the fence with ordering one.
I’m glad to see, your shoulder isn’t giving you a lot of grief. ... great review
Excellent review man, been waiting to hear from you on it. Keep it up!
What a great review! I've been watching your videos and it is helping me with my decision on buying this bike next spring
Tom Brown thanks friend
Thanks for this outstanding, impartial review and comments. I respect your opinion very much since you are a motorcyclist and not just a brand biker. We rarely buy new bikes, but, this may end up at our shop sometime next year. Thanks again, and ride safe my friend!
Willy's Performance Cycle Center, Since 1969 thanks for being part of the family
Went in to look at the new Cheif bobber and saw the Challenger
🤘🏻😲🤘🏻 !!! Id NEVER been attracted to a Harley bagger but THIS just floored me! I need to Demo one. Thx fer the breakdown
Go ride one and you’ll be HOOKED
This scoot is phenomenal - I got to test ride one also. I just wish I could afford one...ha ha ha! Thanks for the killer review, Adam.
Thanks fur tuning in 👊
Excited for the bigger version of the pan America motor to make its way into a touring bike.
Great reviews Adam I hope your shoulder is doing good I hope to come to your campground some day Thanks for bringing us along.
Just great vlog as usual!!! Just keep putting more.....! Greetings from UK! Ride safe!
Just like Adam said.
thanks for weighing in on that 👊
Was really looking forward to your review on this bike. It's a bike the I'm definitely interested in and it's great to have an unbiased opinion on the matter. I enjoy the channel and everything you stand for bro, thank you for the great vids!
Awesome video, great content, I love the look of the challenger, it might be going into my garage this spring...
Great review!!!!
thanks for tuning in 👊
Thank you for the review I appreciate hearing it from a seasoned rider.
Good review, definitely interesting to hear about the bits you liked, didn’t like. Safe riding to you and your loved ones
Oh great... I had pretty much decided on the bike I wanted this summer. Thanks Mr. Adam now for more research.
Parting thought. I had previously taken Indian off the list because they lacked dealerships and I was concerned about parts/maintenance issues.
Nailed it brother! What better way to enjoy what makes ya happy!! Papa Greg here 😎😁👍
Adam- Thanks for the honest review. I am happy to see competition in this marketplace as it can only enhance offerings from my favorite American brand H-D. Ride Safe!
Yeah. Bro you always give solid reviews.
I appreciate that 👊 I just give y'all my honest opinion
I'll also bet this bike platform will go from cost to coast without missing a beat.
thnaks brother,, do you feel the vibration on the foot bored
Bagger Drag racing is getting popular now . Indian says it's 122 HP but that's Gross HP Adam has had big $$$ invested into his other kits having big bore kits and hotter cams installed.. Then they were tuned and tested on a rear wheel Dyno.. Rear Wheel HP is a bit less than flywheel HP
Dude.....thank you soo much for an unbiased, objective review!
Great ride indeed. Pretty impressed
Coming from a Harley Owner. But I like Indians also. Great video keep up the good work.
@@cedriclashar8905 Take it from a former Harley rider, the Challenger is a whole new world.
This is Victory performance continuing on under the Indian name. Some people don't like it but I think it's great. I have two Victorys and when they get the Challenger a little more refined I may pick one up.
I would highly recommend it. I loved both my chieftain and now my challenger
I just read how bad for the environment motorcycles are, so to see the potential for this bike to be better for the plant than any of the baggers HD has made me think I'm going to be an Indian guy
although I will always own a Harley, it's just who I am in my soul, there's so much about the indiana that I am impressed with
Nice fair review Adam.
👏👏👏👏
@@road_king_dude resource.kenect.com/jM1vRRQUVQSS
@@road_king_dude I have the tab performance bam sticks on the way along with the Indian stage 1 breather. Also ordered the heated grips and front/rear highway bars.
@@cuzimaluzer777 bro!!! I'd do the SAME THANG bro!!!!
@@cuzimaluzer777 😍😍😍😍
Very good review Adam. I like the in-depth analysis of the specs, and your opinion as a mile junky. Probably the best review I've seen. It makes me, even as a Road Glide Special owner, very interested in this bike. Keep up the good work.
Thanks brother. It is indeed an impressive machine
Your Opinions and knowledge are second to none!
Thanks friend.
Good review, will be looking at one on my next purchase against a Road Glide..... Thanks
Same here. Seriously leaning more towards the Challenger
Excellent review Adam, looks like a Win, Win, for the customer, any time another manufacturer goes on a shooting match, the customer always wins, can’t wait to see what Harley comes up with, I have to admit I’m like WOW!! knowing how much technology Indian throws in with out price gouging
Thanks Indian you made your point 👍🏼
This definitely makes it harder for me to decide between a Road Glide and Challenger. I hate that Indian doesn't have all of the aftermarket choices that HD has. So if I can get over that, Indian is what I will get.
Great review... thanks! Personally ride a 13 Ultra Classic (last of the older school), and well satisfied. Have a friend who's seriously contemplating the Challenger! Appreciate your presentation and close out... Blessings! :)
Love your honest reviews. You always make it fair and well stated.
Great review Adam! I've ridden my second Challenger now. Harley has nothing that competes at all.....
Auto windscreen is a great idea when you're cranking along and it starts raining cats & dogs.
It rained a Deer on me this summer.. Killed that stupid thing with the front of my bike .. had to replace forks headlight radiator ect..
I have been waiting not so patiently for your review because I trust your opinion, thx
Great Stantini I was 100% honest here brother. Hope it helped.
Tell Santa to leave me 2 for Christmas! Great reviews for a great looking machine!
Great review Adam Thanks !
i agree with what you've said, i have not ridden one yet, but hope to at 2020's Laconia Bike week, but i have ridden the Indian Vintage and the Springfield, and i fell in love, but while i was Saving for a Vintage a local Honda Dealer offered $18,995 MSRP Leftover 2014/15 Goldwing F6C Valkyrie's for $9995 brand new full warranty and i test Rode a demo the dealer had with my wife on the back and and she leaned over halfway thru the test ride and said BUY IT !! and i did, and since i'm now 60, i will be a goldwing guy i think the rest of my life.
Thanks for the review. Very informative & thorough!
Thanks for your review Adam. Definitely one of the top choices if I could swing the $$$
Very well done review on the Indian Adam! One day down the road I'd like to get into an Indian but I'm just going to ride my ultra and be happy
This isnt a power cruiser. It's a performance Bagger.
Triumph Rocket 3 and Diavel and VMAX are power cruisers.
We’ll see.
Lose the sunglasses
I have one of those 2019 Kawasaki Vaquero shown @14:03 and have to say for the price is a great machine with plenty of power, fixed fairing, radio and a few other things not as tech guided as the challenger but also not as pricey. Would love to get a Challenger but is out of my price range at this moment. Thanks for your reviews and also thanks for your support to the Veterans community.
