Butchers is not bad but gas grills with hot plate just don’t give you that Smokey char that you get with charcoal or shinpo grill. You should try wagyu house Croydon which is one of the OGs in the inner west where they use proper charcoal grills
@@joshf-w9602 Bro I feel the opposite regarding Wagyu house in Croyden! I've been there and personally found it more distasteful with the charcoal, it was way too charcoally for me. All I could taste is burnt charcoal. Honestly though, Butchers you can't taste the gas grill - but if smokey char is your thing then yeah butchers is probably not the place for you. Also I found the staff in Wagyu house less friendly. The ones at Butchers are very nice and friendly. Perhaps I went on a bad day?
@@Addrian. to be fair if you’re going for customer service yeah wagyu house probably isn’t the place. I guess each to their own but as someone who grew up with charcoal fired BBQs and then lived in Singapore and Japan where Satay and Yakitori respectively are grilled over charcoal I just love that extra flavour
@@joshf-w9602 I can't argue with that nostaglic feeling man! Glad to see we're on same page regarding the service, though I will say - their selection is fantastic, especially if you like seafood! They do give a lot of options for seafood and even meat. I may have to just give it a go again at some point!
Haha I do love rice though im normally the same, ill eat less rice at KBBQ but i do enjoy it with the meat, mostly probably 90% of the meat was Bulgogi, there was also some lamb and some other beef meats. Though bulgogi was majority. Mainly because its so tender and thinner compared to the other meats. More of a personal preference
CARD ONLY NO CASH, we went there to have lunch and they refused my cash, so we went elsewhere never to return. I would NEVER EVER GO THERE even if it was the last BBQ place on earth.
@@MikesManCave I don't know about the no cash policy as I've always paid card, though that is unusual as I've never seen a sign saying no cash / card only. Sorry to hear about your experience Mike!
@@Addrian. You literally show the sign in your video at the 44 second mark, we went to the one in Cabramatta, had the same sign up. Businesses refusing cash do not deserve my money. I will frequent businesses that do not promote a cashless society. Any business refusing cash deserves to go broke. Go Woke go broke. PS I am going to try the Berlin Food Bunker next time I am in Sydney, your review looked great.
@@MikesManCave I will say Mike, I completely agree with where you're coming from regarding a cashless society. I absolutely am against that too. And in all honestly I was oblivious to the fact it was cashless. I'm honestly shocked and surprised by that. As I mentioned, I've honestly never noticed as I've always paid with card. That's crazy. Berlin food bunker is fantastic Mike! Go there on a Monday night if you're keen on lamb otherwise all other days he's open it's beef and chicken. His name is Peter, great guy. Let him know you saw my video. He'll look after you. Send me a comment on my video of the Berlin food bunker if you go, keen to hear your thoughts!
@@Addrian. Will do, I might be heading there in the next week or three, just got to organise a few days off work. Will also check out Spanian kebabs, which has turned out to be a fairly low rated kebab shop. 🤣I actually think Spanian his Cashless as well, so won't be frequenting that too much either.....
@MikesManCave ha ha, Spanian has moved to Parramatta now, no longer at Haberfield Mike. Yeah to be honest, I don't think he has cash either. Berlin Food Bunker definitely does! Spanians kebabs went low on ratings because of the food being cold (people complaining), bread too thick and for some too much sauce. For me my biggest complaint was that you couldn't do custom orders. I don't eat tomatoes and they won't remove it. So that wasn't great. And you can't have add ons either. It'll be good for you to try both I reckon!
Thanks for your review, I’ll definitely go check this place out
@@sidesw1pe you're welcome. Honestly it's my favorite! You won't be disappointed

I've actually been looking into going here!
It's so good bro. You'll enjoy it, no doubt
