Dazzling aquatic beauty! 'Here Are the 10 BEST Red Aquarium Plants' presents a visual feast, guiding aquarium enthusiasts to vibrant underwater landscapes
There are countless plants for aquariums and we must learn to distinguish them and determine the ones that best suit us and can provide us with a good environment and the nutrients our fish need depending on the type we have. In this list we can find very good quality red plants that we can buy and give our aquarium that luxury and fill our aquarium with efficient nutrients, plants of different types in which we can determine the ideal ones for our fish and tanks, as well as the that can be easily grown at home.
Great looking plants and great choice. I've seen water wisteria with red leaves and reddish stems ......but after buying them and planting at home they gradually turn to green. Idk how they make those red but I've tried everything but nothing seems to work . Btw red roots do not survive at all with slightest of water agitation and almost all aquariums have filters with water flow idk how to grow them . But the sample videos in the video are extremely fascinating.
Forget it, I talked to a botanist and I found it's impossible for me. Anthocyanin is the pigment behind the color red in aquatic plants and it acts as a sunscreen for plants. So if I need intense red I have to put the plants under scorching sun for at least 3-4 hour to put the plants in photo stress and make the plants realise they're under threat . Then they'll automatically produce more and more anthocyanin.
I have tried most of these red plants, yet, none of it survived. It looks like red plants need much intense light than the green ones, and also, it cannot survive in stone gravel, and it needs soil substrate for roots.
@@AquariumStoreDepot I’ll try with more lights, and the downside could get algae out of control with leaves covered with black hairs. I’ll put it in soil pot in stead of stone gravel. Putting co2 could be harder. Will more fish in the tank will generate enough co2 ?
@@henryjia4725 probably not with fish. Your source water could be an issue if you get black algae. I would test your tap. I know here they are loaded with Phosphates so unless I use RO water I will be plagued with BBA for freshwater and Cyano and hair algae for saltwater tanks (though I need to step up to RODI for saltwater).

Are you supplementing iron in your tank?
Yes alternatively macro and micro 6 days a week , 7 th day 50% water change. Or 25% water change twice a week.
@@deathcaster3006 Are you supplementing CO2 and using an RGB light?
No CO2 but rgb light on 2 of the tanks

show de bola,não sei qual prefiro
Which ones will handle higher heat in tank of discus fish ✌️🇨🇦
Ludwigia repens and tiger lotus would work 😊
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Yes this is all true. Generally red plants are harder to keep with green plants they usually require more light, iron, and CO2
