i love how confident he is in his skills. i've watched some home chefs who constantly doubt themselves and their dishes and it just puts me off of wanting to try those dishes, whereas with josh he's sure of himself and his abilities, i like it.

You are smoking so many things if you think this stuff is 10 bucks. over 10 dried chilis, two cans of beans, onions, red onions, cilantro, ground beef, tortillas, enough oil to deep fry(expensive af) and a bunch of other stuff I swear nobody that watches these and comments on food prices cook their own food. This would cost so much money to make at home.

Like I enjoy cooking, it's one of my favorite hobbies, but I only cook something with lots of effort and ingredients once every few weeks. Josh does this for his job ofc he does this a lot, but if you make these recipes infrequently, it's really not that much or that bad.
Love your recipes because I can trust the quality, and they force me to learn different cooking techniques I'm not yet familiar with to make something special. Keep up the good work!
I watched your first video and realized that how far you have been gotten, it's amazing how much you changed since then and I'm telling this in a good way
I worked at Taco Bell as a teenager when this originally came out. I think the Sauce goes on top and you forgot the diced tomatoes. Texture is an important component of the Mexican Pizza as getting it "to go" results in it being steamed on the drive home which ruins the crunchiness. Your version did look delicious. Taco Bell version used pinto beans, not black beans, in the original.

As a Mexican I like taco bell. I just have always had in mind that it's not real Mexican food it has its own taste and flavor. But aside from that, I really appreciate this version and choosing a way better name cause it's technically a tostada which we do here. Tostada with refried beans and some kind of meat and sauce. Made me so hungry. I applaud you for all of these recipes they all look amazing.
One thing they used to include in the Mexican pizza was green onions. I don't know when or why they removed it from the menu but it was better when they had that still. Just sharing so others that miss the Mexican pizza get other ideas to add to it when they make their own. One last think Taco Bell used a small steamer that had just enough room for the pizza to go in to melt the cheese. Thank you so much for making this video.
I really wish your channel would have been around several years ago. My favorite soup in the whole world was Cambell's oyster stew. They stopped making it , and any can you would fine would be years out of date. It was super creamy, and buttery. I've tried to make it from scratch, but something is missing. love your channel.

The closest thing I can think of resembling the "Mexican pizza" is a Tlayuda, traditionaly made in Oaxaca, but can be found in other cities, I really recommend It.

It’s my fav food from TB, along with chili cheese burrito, and cheesarito. I make mine at home with tostada shells. You certainly put enough effort into what you made, but that is in no way what I’d want you make as a fancy version. It’s about the only time I use the broiler. I’m sure what you put together is good, but sometimes we just want a basic thing without all the prep.

It’s my fav food from TB, along with chili cheese burrito, and cheesarito. I make mine at home with tostada shells. You certainly put enough effort into what you made, but that is in no way what I’d want you make as a fancy version. It’s about the only time I use the broiler.
I’m sure what you put together is good, but sometimes we just want a basic thing without all the prep.
