On what basis? Just because he's a 'bad person?" Sorry, he wasn't being tried for being a 'lousy husband' but for murder. There was likewise no evidence for his supposed abuse of his daughter and just assuming he did it because, yet again, he's a 'bad person' is a gross corruption of reason and the law. His philandering and those unsubstantiated abuse accusations should have NEVER been allowed as all they did was give the jury a bogus reason to convict him for the exact same reason you wish to - Because he's a 'bad guy' who 'deserves it' and NOT because the evidence actually proves him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Add in how the accused had what was by any reasonable determination a near ironclad alibi along with how the fellow who was convicted had a history of such offenses and who - which isn't mentioned here - was coached by the investigators so as to implicate the husband and you have a classic case of police tunnel vision and prosecutorial malfeasance.
You try people for the crimes they are accused of committing, not whether they are a 'bad person' who 'deserves it.' The fact that so many people seem to not realize that is terrifying.

If I was him, I would have made that 911 call exactly the same way. It proves nothing. Of course he sounded emotional. He just offed his entire family and that 911 call was the first thing between him and freedom. Highly emotional situation. Easy for a guy like him to pull off.

Such a deep lack of principles and morality are often developments of a lack of character. Chances are his family have the same deficit as he does. In the end , it comes down to this. People find it easier to swallow the lie than the truth. When the truth is so unacceptable, we rationalize. Rationalizations are lies we tell ourselves to make ourselves feel better.

  • @Yosetime

I really hate that David Camm got away with murder. That weirdo who he hired was a rabbit hole for sure. But he had no reason to ambush an entire family just for some shoes! It was an impossible risk to take and how could he have known that this woman would be arriving at this exact location at that exact time? It doesn't make sense. There are a lot more easier targets for a man like that. David, however, is a narcissist and manipulator. He had motive, means, and opportunity. I hate that they continued to the third trial without making sure they had enough evidence to convict. Otherwise he'd still be behind bars instead of lapping up a life of luxury and freedom. There's no way he is innocent.

Yeah. He was a sh*tty person and cheater, but I don't believe after everything, didn't kill his family. Even when they tried him for homicide for insurance money wasn't substantial enough. The mystery of the young daughter being molested is one of those things you could see from both sides. The mother could be falsely accusing the ex of this for revenge, amongst other things. However, bc he wasn't the greatest human being, the police could assume in the realm of this man's behaviors, molestation wouldn't be that far of an accusation. I'm not sure either way, but at this point, it doesn't matter bc the daughter and her family are no longer here. What a crazy case. It was all over the place!!! Just a very unsettling and sad case❤

Man it's infuriating to me that we can pay for all these migrant families that need housing but you have a juvenile here who is in desperate need of Mental Health services but the system failed her. These are the type of classes that multi-millionaires like Bill Gates Zuckerberg Etc need to take off put some of that money that you're supposedly giving to the giving pledge build more affordable housing better mental health facilities better juvenile facilities. If all the rich people in the world stop worrying about flashing their wealth and turned around and help the communities and people imagine how much better this world to be

So if i understand correctly, the whole entire Johnson family (as shown in the family photo) is dead ?? The father k*lled the daughter and then himself, and Eric Jr k*lled his mom and his brother and himself.
That is so unbelievably sad and tragic.
To take the life of Serreno out of pure jealousy is such a cowardly act, that young man seemed to have a bright future ahead of himself. RIP Serreno 😢

A mother who listens to her daughter complain of "pain in her private area" and doesn't IMMEDIATELY do something about it is just as guilty in my eyes. Why waste time making secret plans? Get ur poor child to a hospital immediately and they will assist with contacting police!
Women who put their need for a man above their children's safety should not be allowed to keep their children.

    • @isaaclopez-eb6yg

Well we have to think of the fact this man has connections with the authorities. They could easily believe him over her accounts. He could say she went crazy and lose custody of the children. He could use his connections to plant something on her. Also he could have gone violent and done exactly what happened. She wanted to stay low while she thought she had enough time to keep her children safe. I do think she cared more for her children but she couldn't just run away. It has happened to many other women and they have either ended up losing their children or dead themselves. I think she was being cautious as possible but she couldn't imagine what her own husband was willing to do.

What an evil web we weave when we endeavor to deceive. That last case was full of nothing but cowards who didn't want to face the consequences for what they had done. Good riddance, but sad for the innocent lives that were lost.
People are insane. I cannot imagine what it takes to plan and carry out a murder without caring about the collateral damage (kids left without mothers or fathers, etc.). I could kill someone in self-defense if it was needed, but I can't say I'd be pleased with myself. The person would be someone's sibling, child, parent.....but so am I. I just don't want to be in a situation where I have to do it.

It tells a lot that the people who knew you best David camm had absolutely no qualms about pressing charges on you. Cops do not like the prosecutor other cops so they have to be pretty goddamn sure. Regardless of whether or not you killed your family belong in jail for being a terrible human being an even worse father. You were not there to protect your own daughter or your wife or your son because you were such an insecure little child. Sad excuse for a man I'm sorry where there is smoke there is fire about the allegations of sexual abuse of his daughter. The other man who was convicted literally gain Nothing by throwing David cam under the bus a sentence with short and you could understand why it would be hard to believe but he has literally no reason to say David Kim hired him unless it was the truth

I've seen several shows about David Camm. None of them gave the proper background on all of his affairs, they only briefly touched on them. The details you had about that were much worse and really painted a much darker picture of him. He did not care at all about his family. I think he hired Boney to do it so he could come in after the fact. So yeah, he got away with it. Great details on the case SG !

If prosecutors can’t convict by following the rules, keeping trial testimony fair & unbiased, or utilizing/interpreting scientific evidence correctly… then the person shouldn’t be convicted- even if it’s clearly obvious they’re guilty, &/or thert tree e’s no one else that would have a motive… they still shouldn’t be found guilty. It’s what keeps &, upholds the sacredness of the court system.

David asserts that his fellow officers turned their backs on him? Yet they helped hide/allow his multiple infidelities and possibly his corruption as a peace officer? Maybe they felt he became a liability and decided to stop protecting him. If the autopsy of his daughter is accurate he should spend the rest of his life seeking justice FOR HER FIRST.
