End of May to early June is a great time to visit flower gardens in Oregon. You can see beautiful displays of irises, peonies, roses, and lilacs, all in close proximity to one another.
This garden’s bearded irises looked stunning on their own, but I really enjoyed the areas where they were companion planted with columbines, peonies, and alliums. And the huge Black Lace Elderberries flanking the iris beds were spectacular.

@@notjustpinkflowers it's very closer to the river Arno, among olive trees and from there you can see quite all the city! The iris is actually the simbol of Florence, although it seems a lylium.

So pretty!! There are a few shrubs/trees I was wondering what they are-does anyone know what they are? The first shrub or tree is in the very first frame in the beginning. In the left corner at the very beginning of the video, it is kind of whitish.
The second shrub/tree I’m wondering what it is is at the very end. They are balls with beautiful light/white foliage. They look almost like dappled willows but are growing on a single trunk. Thanks for the beautiful video!

Seems like the video color is sort of washed out, but still pretty.
Thank you. Yes, the sun was in and out of the clouds that afternoon, and I think the autoexposure on the camera phone overcorrected and washed out a lot of the colours. Which is too bad because the irises were so colourful and vibrant! 🤣 I tried to fix it in my editing program, but the video still has some of that faded, washed out quality. I hope the video is still enjoyable/helpful. Thanks for watching! 🌸🌸
