I’m so exited about owning another book of yours. Keep them coming both videos and books, Claus! We love your garden, your knowledge and your creativity.
I have purchased my copy and am loving it. I haven’t read it all yet, been so busy in my own garden as well as helping my daughter start a garden at her home. The book is a beautiful addition to my library. I know it will be referenced a lot. So happy to have it! Can’t wait to read the rest. Thank you for all you do to help us be better gardeners too.
Hi Claus . Your garden looks so beautiful and the aconitum plant looks so pretty with its blue color . Congratulations about your book . Have awonderful day .🎄🌻🎄
Your book is wonderful. Looking forward to applying inspiration from it to my California cottage garden. Thank you so much for your tribute to Tasha Tudor. What an amazing soul she was. And thank you for publishing it in English.
Ii purchased this when it first became available in the US. I have enjoyed reading it and use it as a reference as I continue to develop my gardens. Thank you so much for writing it and publishing it in English.
Hello, Mr. Dalby so good to see another video of yours here on RUclips! I will definitely purchase the book. You are a garden inspiration to all. Peace and blessings to you.
Congratulations on the book! My grandparents were first generation Dutch Americans and my grandma had cottage gardens. I’m going to ask for your book for Christmas and ask my husband to buy from a local bookstore.
Parasol is also used in English as an earlier word for a sun shade umbrella. I was thinking about you when I bought my alliums. Now I have also discovered that I have inherited Danish, Swedish and Norwegian DNA from my ancestors, which made me very happy.
I was just looking through my book that I have of yours for autumn and winter container ideas. I adore that book. So will definitely be purchasing your new book. What a lot of work you have put into it. Thankyou! Warm regards from England!
Just received your book, Claus. Ordered from Amazon. Beautiful I can't wait to review every page. So glad you mentioned the book on your last video. Greetings from Miami, FL. USA.
Of course I am going to buy this book . I love your garden and can’t wait to have the book and hopefully can creat some of your beautiful work in my garden too . ❤
Thank you for touring the world for me and creating this book. When I saw you flipping through the pages I knew I had to have for both me and all my sisters. Makes a great gift. Nice to cozy up with it in winter time and again. Enjoyed your garden tour.😊
Good morning, Claus, I am from Connecticut and enjoyed hearing in your video that you visited and saw the alocasia growing here. There is a nursery in Litchfield, Connecticut called White Flower farm, I wonder if you are familiar with it or might have visited that place while you were in Connecticut? Congratulations on your beautiful new book, I look forward to reading it.
Watched you on Linda Vater's channel and was very impressed with your knowledge and enthusiasm! I'm designing a small section of garden area and will most certainly copy ideas from your videos. North Central Kansas in the United States. Thank you.
I have grown Cobaea on a wall, on a trellis , this year I grew 1 plant one an arbor. It was huge with many blooms. I developed a very bad rash and realized it was from my walking through the arbor and the plant rubbed against my arms. It is the only things that I could discern was the cause. My husband sadly took it down 😢, if this was the cause. I will plant it again but somewhere I will not be touching it. This may sounds crazy but it truly is a magnificent plant. I live in western Canada zone 4a.
It is so good to see you. I have missed seeing your garden. I ordered your new book. My husband is giving it to me for Christmas. I will have something beautiful to read during January. Thank you.
What a beautiful climate you have in Denmark! I would love to grow Monkshood, but it is too hot and humid for them in New Jersey (near New York,) If I could grow them, I would grow almost only Monkshood, with some reblooming irises, and spiderwort and aster to pick up the purple color. Delphiniums also do not grow well for us here, alas.
I have already bought your book and it is AMAZING!! I enjoy it so much and I learned a lot!! I hope your other books can be translated into English, too, for everyone to enjoy!! Welcome back ~ I've missed your videos!! ~ Seattle, Washington USA
I must purchase your new book “The Cottage Garden”! A perfect book to add to my library! Winter is coming…your book will help me plan my spring garden!
Hi Claus, Are those blue flowers also called Monkshood? I have ordered some for the Spring, but then was discouraged to read they are poisonous. Have you any knowledge of them? Thanking you in advance and love watching your videos.
Yes, they are Monkshood and they are indeed poisonous. I don’t consider it a problem, but you should perhaps read about it online to decide for yourself.
Just ordered your beautiful book! I was happy to see your appreciation for the Kiringashoma!! One of my favorite shade garden plants. I also have the Kiringashoma Koreana; very similar with a different flower orientation. Thanks for your wonderful channel.
I'm sure I will find your book under the Xmas tree ! I have a question about cobaea : in Denmark, do you manage to get ripe seeds ? Because, that's my problem here in Belgium. I also have a lot of fruits but they remain green (inside too).
Thank you so much for putting my book on your wishlist for Christmas. Yes, I do manage to get ripe seeds, but then I do sow them very early - in February/March.
I am not sure whether you want to buy a Danish copy or an English one. The latter can be ordered online from many webshops and the Danish one you will find in most well-stocked bookshops.
I am so pleased to hear that. I hold Linda in high esteem and I am really fortunate that she has written the foreword to my latest book The Cottage Garden.

Aconite. That's poisonous isn't it?
I love monkshood but compared to delphiniums, delphinium can make a pet sick but monkshood will kill your pets
