The Southwold Railway Trust`s Steamworks

Later in the year I hope to film the course of the old Southwold Railway from Halesworth to Southwold.
But first I had a look at their visitor centre in Southwold .
A great bunch of people, very friendly and helpful.

That dark blue and red looks great on Blyth, it reminds me of the Kent and East Sussex Railway's livery during their commercial years before 1948.

@@nutmeg5032 I have got a copy of the book written about the railway. I believe one of the locos was in the process of being cut up for scrap as the last trains was being run

@@nutmeg5032 thank you for your reply hope you are keeping well I had a bit of trouble with one section of track in the garden last week it’s slow gone back straight now so will have to cut a bit of rail

@@mrmrst9020 Yes I started running the other morning about 08.30 and it was all ok, but by 11.00 nothing but derailments. I didn't even both doing anything, just packed it all up in disgust.
