    I wouldn't feel comfortable sitting that close to the sector, with no protection, and my back to the thrower.

    I'm assuming there were limited allowed angles from which to record. Otherwise, this was probably not the time to reinvent how the event is shot. 🤣

    Congratulations on your success Burger! Any rough idea of Geist/Pip 1st round distances?

      Thanks! Don't really know about Geist, although I think it would've gotten him into the finals. Trip's first throw went about 64 feet but he unfortunately didn't feel himself fouling

      @Michael Wayne Good question Mike, throwers are now allowed to enter the ring from any direction, all they must do it exit the back half under control.

      It was safe, the orange shoe only ascended the side of the toeboard and didn't go on top. Very difficult call to make in person tho.
