So easy to get distracted by watching the throwers' *bodies* when they rotate. Watch the *ball*--esp. on someone like Crouser--and you'll see that it moves nearly straight across the circle.
Surprisingly, or maybe not, Tom's shots are the straightest of all the rotational throwers. Btw i really liked that observation, the physics of it make a lot of sense, you don't want to fight the trajectory of a massive object, you want to use its innertia to accelerate it even faster.
FAILMAN Oinas : Loll Sure sure!! Nothing beats some of the most beautiful super women in the world jumping around naked inches away from a group of men for motivation!!! Can’t disagree with that but it can still fuck up you’re concentration.... 😂😂😂😂
It's not about spinning fast it's about accelerating which crouser does amazingly plus his size and mass doesn't allow him to do it easily but his technique is the best in the world imo
Just one guy using the Parry O'Brian old school style of throwing, that was Storl. Nevertheless, he still managed 69.98'. I say to this day the spin gave more distance to the throw and if the guys back in 1960s had the spin I wonder how much further they could have heaved the ball? I forgot the name of the guy that popularized the spin, was it Randy Barnes? It should have been ruled illegal then and there, but that's just my opinion and that ain't worth 2 cents.
I keep thinking that Stanek should be called for a foul, you can't enter the circle and then step on the toe board to get into position, if he entered the circle by the toe board, then that's different, it's like asking for permission to clean the circle after you entered it.
Technically you can enter anywhere in the circle before you throw, if the shot hasn’t left your neck as your getting into the circle it’s not a foul. Like in discus I can stand on the line of the circle before I throw because your throw hasn’t started yet until you’re in position and winding up.
@@jansvozil1599 yeah once you’re in you can’t touch anything other then the inside but at the beginning you can stand on it before you go in because you’re technically not touching the concrete yet, rules in field events are really weird
Noone can throw like DAVID STORL noone can glide like him 👍🖤
Ulf Timmermann was practically the king of the glide.

How can thoses guys stay focused when they have the women pole vaulters walking around naked right next to them?????
That's why they're elite athletes
They get motivaation from it😂😀

Di competition too Jamal 🔥🔥
I didn't see anything that justified a foul on Hill's last toss. I think if it would have been fair, it would have been close to the winning mark.
20:29 his foot hits the top of the toe board which is a foul
@@XGNSpace Is it the top or the inside at the top? I think this is a very questionable decision!
It was almost certainly a foul. But I only spotted it on replay.
I want David storl to win so badly
Same
same, with so many spinners the farthest thrower should be a glider
All I want is for that glide to just work.
The only thing that Crouser needs is a faster spin.
very slow((( Crouser
But if he want to be faster. He need change his technique
@@SantanaBodyboarder why?
@@uncanaldeentretenimiento9918 due to he need more space, and more stability, to spin faster

Why was hills two throws scratched never understand why
Justin Sheffield his heal hit the top of the toe board

Why on EARTH should the rotational technique have been ruled illegal? It in no way contravenes the rules.

STANEK BEAUTIFUL
Very good technician.
Why is Hill's last throw a foul? Can someone explain?
He steped out of the circle
why do they immediately wears hoddie and stuff after thier throw?

Yeah strictly by the rules it should be like that, but it doesnt give him any advantage so I think theres no need to calling it foul

Kg
😂 25:00
Crouser fouls each throw with left foot
It is allowed, the rules has changed. I think now it is that you can step on the outside of the ring if it doesnt give you significant advantage
@@jansvozil1599 it makes sense, there’s some tall dudes that throw, need some extra room for them
