@@joshuagarcia8547Some dwarfs made it in a bet with Loki that they could make some cooler stuff than what Loki was going to present the God's. Seeing that they were making some cooler stuff he shape shifted into a fly and got in their eyes as they were making it. So they called it up a bit and it ended up with a cruddy short handle. Dwarfs then sold this bug as a feature saying it was now a concealed piece.
I only recently started listening to Bolt Thrower and holy shit they're easily one of (if not) the best death metal band ever!
A shame there will never be anymore Bolt Thrower. RIP Martin.

My first international gig was Motorhead.. I was 15 and it was 84 I think.
I'd left home at 14. Lived with NZs biggest Motorhead fan.
Sadly I spent the night carrying him around and he doesn't remember any of it 😦
Was very easy down here to go to gigs/pubs very young back then. Before everything good was gentrified.

It wasn’t my first concert but by far one of the best...even in this small place called G. Willikers in NJ for the Warmaster tour. I even got to meet them. They were really cool

This video got me into bolt thrower and subsequently warhammer. I'd always known of bolt thrower but I never knew where to start. This gave me that starting point.

As a Brit who had the pleasure of seeing and meeting the band several times, I can say they were criminally underrated, and their back catalogue stands the test of time. They forged a unique and crushing sound and always delivered live. Respect to them for not releasing anything they considered sub par. One of the greatest British death metal bands. BTW, the cover of for victory is a photo of British soldiers in the Falklands during the Falklands war. Keep up the good metal content. All the best from blighty.

Yes that was their masterpiece, artistically speaking.
IVth was my 1st so to speak. And to me is the ultimate, quintessential Bolt Thrower album and sound. But I love them all.
I maintain that Embers is the best realization of the ‘endless battle’ motif they returned to (World Eater, Cenotaph, etc) on most of their albums.

HA HA HA HA HA! At first I was like, “YAY! Killbot&Gor Gor Attack is back!” and then I saw, “Even my CAT likes Bolt Thrower!” I am now in stitches. Nice to see the lady bass player expressed straight-forward as an integral part of the music’s creation. (Rather than, “OMG! It’s a chik!”) Of course the artwork is a big highlight, a warm place of both nostalgia and current life continuing in that same vein. Also reminds me of hanging out with a friend and we did this detailed compare, contrast and discussion over Metal band logos and their artistic design. (I might even have a tape of that somewhere.) Dang! That’s some wild camouflage you got there! Nice hat!
Fascinating on the artwork copyright elements. (And during that you play a style of music I often listen to as well, what was that?) All the portions of how Bolt Thrower grew and created their albums throughout the years were totally fascinating even though I’ve not heard them before to my knowledge. What you showed with “Mercenary” definitely leant towards what I would enjoy, though! Sounds like with albums they go in themes. It was wild looking through the gaming stuff because the artwork was definitely taking me back to my D&D days. HA HA HA HA! Love the Battleship component in this hunt down. Absolutely adorable ending. Good to see ya having a blast!

It all falls under Fair Use. I use the bands music to make points, comparisons, and I talk about the music while it's playing. Even the cat snippet is fair use ONLY because i mention "Bolt Thrower is so good even my cat likes it!" and I demonstrate it. Also, the song at the end is a cover, so it's okay that I played that as much as I did without speaking it's reference to what's going on.
Killbot&GorGorAttack!! Ever heard of Spastic Ink (insane band) and a musician called Ron Jarzombek (associated with bands like Spastic Ink, Watchtower, Blotted Science, Spiral Architect)?
Started listening to them in 1991 and finally saw them live in 2008. Their music has a certain atmosphere that really comes into its own live. Stagedived a bunch of times and met the whole band after the show, what a night ... was so lucky to see them and talk to them in person, will never forget it, long live Bolt Thrower.
Never heard of this band until now, I'll check it out some day.

Mercenary and War Master are my favourite albums by BT (ironically my name is Bruno Terrosa, also BT).
We fell brutally in love with Bolt Thrower when we got bootleg albums here in the Philippines way back in 1995, we even covered For Victory as our tribute to BT by my death metal band PUNEBRE. There will never be another BOLT THROWER, we will remember them!!! 🌩🤘⚡⚡⚡✊
Mercenary is one of the highlights of BT discography and one of the strongest death metal albums ever.

This was educational. Didn't really understand how copyrights work at first. Plus the bestest Bolt Thrower album I've listened to so far (thanks to my dad) is the War Master album. I like how we can easily recognize their unique sound when you hear 'em playing. I like the heavy riffs and the groovy parts :)
