worst part of a concert is either not having enough money to go or not having money for merch
Or buying a really neat thing BEFORE the show because it'll sell out quickly and then it gets fucked in the pit.
The worst part of a concert is when the opening band cancels , and they were the whole reason for showing up
That happens to me a lot, I've been grateful for NYC curfews recently because I don't have a car atm and the hard 22:00 ones leave me enough time to get back home without too much more of a hurt on my wallet

That's why I love smaller venues. Usually the merch is cheaper. I also love it when the band sells their own merch cos you can talk to them.

This is way too damn realatable since I finally get to see Judas Priest in April!!!! The wait is too damn excruciating.

The Amazing Satanist C‘mon, there are a good several shows coming up in Seattle! Do some babysitting or something and take the light rail. It gets you literally 10 minutes away from El Corazon. Children of Bodom is playing there soon. Do it.
Very entertaining and creative concept, Killbot! I wanted to submit ideas but personally it was impossible to think of anything since I was a student for the past 4 years and either worked all the time before shows or I’d have to make an over long commute to see any shows and all I would do was walk around town before the show.

This was me (with almost complete accuracy) before seeing Superjoint/Devildriver recently (my first live show). Most agonizing 5 hours of my life, but so very worth it. About to see Whitechapel/Carnifex in a few days, gonna be the same glorious torture.
I can relate when I went to see Clutch it took me awhile to find stuff to do. And that was my first concert, there were three bands - the obsessed, the Devin Townsend project, and clutch. That was the greatest day of my life.
