I remember I recorded a noisecore demo literally out of being bored in Music Technology class and having Logic Pro on the school provided Mac so I just went fuck it. It had no vocals and just messed with the amp sims on such by messing with a headphone Mic and using the provided drummer for programming drums.

How did you record the guitar? I know it's a stupid question, but if you're making a extreme metal demo, I'm making an extreme metal demo. Also what editing programs do you use (for the Metal Music)?
Usually I plug the guitar into the mixer (which is USB) and use an amp sim in Garageband (I record with that most of the time for effects and EQ purposes).
