I don't divide them. The TV series is the same movie, but longer. Theatre and Cinema, yeah, these are drastically different ways of portraying a story. 2. Try to think outside the box. It was a telekinetic headshot, no bullets required. =)*

The scene in Saving Private Ryan when Jackson shot the other sniper through the scope was actually based on a real life shot fired by a Marine Corp sniper named Carlos Hathcock in Vietnam. Hathcock and a Vietnamese sniper were stalking each other and as the Vietnamese sniper was drawing a bead on Hathcock, Hathcock let him have it. Right through the scope and out of the back of his head. Look it up. True story.

In “No Country for Old Men” you should’ve put the scene where he kills the guy with the pressure bolt gun they use to kill cows. Either way, dope video.

Probably because supressors are useless in 99.99999% of "covert" situations and they need a way to make their ridiculous stealth scenes work.

They might not be quiet enough to where others in the same room won't hear the shots, but they would be quiet enough to where they wouldn't be able to easily tell which direction the shot came from, or they might mistaken the sound for something else. While an un-suppressed shot is so distinct there's absolutely no mistaking it.

After seeing enough gore videos, John Wick 2 and Saving Private Ryan probably did the most realistic headshot.
That 'cat and mouse' scene from Saving Private Ryan gives me goosebumps every time. I'm glad they didn't make it 'instantaneous', as well. You see the flash of the muzzle, the noise, then BAM; the kill. It's so perfect, honestly.
yeah, totally agree with ya, how visually you just see the flash but it would still be pretty too late to avoid it. Also reminds me of some of the cat and mouse scenes in Enemy at the Gates too. :)
