Great game. I don't think Legions Imperialis handles aircraft well, so I'd love to see more Aeronautica. I do think the game works better when there are ground targets, though.
That was great seeing something less common on the internet! Thanks for adding some variety guys ☺ Last time I had fun playing a fighter combat simulator would be the old FASA Interceptor (and that was many decades ago). Never tried the Aeronautica, sadly. Always a bit apprehensive about GW pulling the plug whenever I start playing their niche games (looking at you, original Epic, Necromunda and Gorka Morka)
I had a great time playing some AI with Richard. Getting to wear the Far East shirt again, I felt like a kid putting on the top of their favorite pro team!
In Turn 4, the Blood Angels Xiphon failed to cause enough damage to destroy the last Xiphon. The other 2 BA Xiphons were out of range and/ark of fire. The Iron Warriors could have chosen to disengage. But, they wanted to go down swinging and try and take another of the Blood Angels with them.
Oh, thank you. But I was wondering if you guys had decided on house rules or something. Once one side is reduced to 25% of their models or fewer, the next turn is to be the last turn of the match. I was just confused on if you had mentioned that the rule wasn’t in effect because the Iron Warriors didn’t want to quit. Glad to see a new video out today! I’m going to give it watch now. Keep it up!
I really love this game but I think it's meant to be played in a campaign, so you'd actually have an incentive to disengage and keep important pilots alive.
Agreed. A lot of the AI missions play better in campaign scenarios with extra skills and Aces. But they can be fun in a no holds barred brawl. It just actually really fun to play :D
This was a fun game to watch. Thanks!

Aeronautica really captures fighter combat well I think. We've also got a Bombing run mission coming out soon. So stay tuned for that.

Glad you liked it and thanks for the support. We try and liven things up a bit. Keeps it entertaining for us as well.
Loved it. Has anyone seen Richard without a cap?
Legend has it its permanently attached 😂
Never watched AI before, thoroughly enjoyed it, and it was a good palette cleanser. Good game fellas!
Yeah its something different we're trying to slot in for variety. Will gauge how popular it is with viewers, but we had a blast filming it.
Iron within Iron without

Was great to have you and thanks introducing Far East Wargaming to Aeronautica. I think we'll be building a few squadrons of our own in the future 😉
Very good video! But, why was Turn 4 not the last one of the game? Had I missed something?
