The suspiciously wealthy furry
Furries do tend to have a lot of money. They pay a lot for their commissions.
You'd be surprised how many furries are in IT, and make really good money.
He orders SOOOOOO many commisions on DA.
3:40 Just want to add this here
The world's most expensive fursuit
The scene of Roquefort turning into the wolf while running at Chai is one of the most badass things I've ever seen man
is like straight up from Transformer
Closest thing to a Dark Souls boss intro in this game
@@john_recon4764 fr fr
Those designers really got us smiling. Its smooth
@@john_recon4764 You hear the G1 transformation sound effect in your head when he shifts, too? 🙂
The fact that his exo suit still has a tie and monocle is what does it for me.
That was both hilarious and intimidating.
Took "Power Suit" on a different meaning.

@@Kpimpmaster Iirc, He just IS a robot. Full robot.
Dude did Chai low key roast Roquefort unintentionally when he asked “Why do you want to be less smart”
I took it more as he didn’t fully understand what Roquefort was getting at
I’m pretty knew what he was saying
@@KpimpmasterNo He Totally Didn’t Know What He Meant
Someone pointed this out in a different video
But Chai is completely out of his element here
And you can tell from the music
Most tunes have a rock vibe to it, but this is a remixed classical tune
And yet despite that, Chai continues to do his best in the fight
The crazies thing about this fight is that we didn’t even win. Roquefort said it himself, he wouldn’t stop coming unless Chai stopped making him angry but let’s be honest, Chai makes every boss angry. It’s by pure luck Fort got buried in gold and likely still alive under it all given the fact he can swim through it like Scrouge McDuck.
Let’s be honest here, Roquefort was quite literally a bigger and badder boss than Kale ever could be.
Idk Roquefort was a cool boss but super easy tbh, I actually struggled a good bit with Kale's final phase
@@graydhd8688 Yea Kale was the hardest but in terms of like hype and fun i had, this is the man with the transformation
The only guy stronger than Chai
I don't disagree, I also support the idea of Roguefort surviving. Hear me out; all the other bosses (not counting Korsica) have exploded after being defeated, but Roguefort didn't, not even any potential proof of death like a dismembered robo-arm or something. Roguefort has proven capable of wading/swimming through gold even in his normal form. So again, It's likely being buried in gold just knocked him out.
(WARNING: SECRET ENDING SPOILERS AHEAD)
I definitely think Roguefort would be the one to plug SPECTRA back in when he wakes up in a possible sequel/DLC. And I'm all for it!
Actually, Scrooge would also die if the gold bury him, so Roquefort is hyper dead
i got chills from Roquefort transforming into a wolf. by far one of the best transformations i seen in gaming
It’s him, the wolf of Wall Street
Correction the Werewolf of Wall-street
7:49 I did not know you can make him dive into the fist!
I struggled against him.
Found that out, wasn't sure there was another way to do it.
B O N K
@@kamikeserpentail3778 You can win against him without doing that. On my first playthrough, I didn't figure it out either, only accidently got him to bonk himself on my second run. it just makes it much easier.
@@kamikeserpentail3778 You can parry his dive
God this is such a good boss fight. Out of all the bosses in the game, this one feels the most like a DMC boss. Kind of reminds me of Beowulf or Goliath.
Yeah. I also love the design of his wolf mode it looks really badass.

I think what I love the most is how you have the gallery of samurai and he puts them away. Which is an immediate alarm.
I deadass thought I’d have to fight a battalion of samurai robots only for him to transform into THAT 😂
Can we talk about the amazing use of the harsh hits at the beginning of each phrase of the song in the cutscenes? They perfectly synced up not only the intro of the song with the room setting up for the fight, but then did the same when Roquefort hits Chai in the end of phase 1 cutscene. This entire level was amazing, though I will admit that this boss on rhythm master is a pain in the ass cos practically any hit is essentially a one-shot, unless you have a couple levels of combo-meter built up.
You can parry everything Roquefort throws at you. Literally everything. D-Parry and High Pitch Punch will decimate him.
I found out that his strikes mostly miss when you're airborne and started playing the floor is lava with Roquefort...
@@DisKorruptd did you go full DMC jump cancelling on him?
I love how perfectly timed his movements feel, compared to other bosses. This guy stood out to me for that, dunno why.
One of the things I love about this fight is the shouts of encouragement each of your friends give you when they're called in.
Even if they've known him just a short time, they know he's terrified, and every time they're supportive. "Don't be scared, Chai, it's okay!" "I've got you, little guy!" "Just keep your focus, we got you!" It's so awesome.
The bank vault with the coins is such a dope set piece
It was their way of flipping Scrooge McDuck off.
I know nothing about this game but this character looks so cool! Not only a werewolf or an cyborg but a Cyber-Werewolf!
indeed
or how some callled him "a suspicously wealthy furry"
(which in this case is.... very spot on)
I feel like this is the only boss fight where Chai was legit scared for his life 😅
I mean he knew the guy was not going down as long as he kept making him angry
(Wich is someting chai does even not even on purpose so naturaly
You don't screw with a furry with a disposable income. :P
The use of orchestral music to contrast with the industrial and EDM music used felt refreshing here. The boss of this level literally turns into a robot wolf in the coolest way possible! Couldn't believe the actor to Roquefort went all out to mimic an actual wolf's howl.
I like when Roquefort goes from human to robo wolf his name changes styles
Truth.
0:43 I looooooooove this intro
I admit I wasn’t expecting a rock remix of Beethoven’s 5th Symphony
Ok but why does he say the neighbors line like that
“Let’s take this someplace a bit more SECURE.”
Outside of the laser sections, this is a pretty straightforward fight
The one thing I noticed about these bosses, they were kinda indebted to Kale. It was through project armstrong that they got a second chance at life. Rekka with her hands or Zanzo with his "creativity", they all had parts of themselves replaced or enhanced. Opinion warning, I would believe all of them had lost or didn't the ability to do what they were capable at, Roquefort being a prime example where he had his entire body replaced because he was aging and couldn't keep money managing any longer. Kale had that changed and when you face off against him, he isn't some decrepit old man but a literal fierce wolf. It makes me wonder what had happened to them before the events of Hi-Fi Rush happened.
That's a really cool parallel with chai, who couldn't play music because of his guitar. It would also explain why korsica is such a black sheep
Ah yes.
Scott Pilgrim vs the Wolf of Wall Street
Amazing.
This was such an interesting fight for me because it was one of the easier ones I went through but as soon as he said he’ll just keep going, I lost all confidence to fight for more than an hour in a dragged out battle. Then the gold dropped lol
every time I hear that “you know what time is? MONEY!” the “money” sounds like Mr. Krabs
This entire fight, specifically the part where Rouquefort pins Chai on the vault door I was just mentally saying “devs…. What the actual fuck???”
That’s how you know a boss is really something special
Without a doubt the best fight and really the only fight I could time and parry perfectly too and the music just legendary

Even this sync to the beat
Im going insane because of the lack of people talking about this bit. It syncs in such a perfect way that makes my brain happy.

The theme and the sync up goes so hard
The 2nd wolf transformation is so damn cool, it gives off Transformers vibes.
I learned very quick when I did this fight that, much like real wolves, Roquefort is laughably weak if you just stay in the air the whole fight. He is a joke if you just stay airborne. Had some good music tho, Mimosa still has the best song tho.
For me it was korsica I know the fight was just partying but the music and atmosphere alone made the fight so intense and a spit out water laughing when I accidentally failed to catch her
@@nathanhendrickson790It was indeed just partying
Chai's reaction to Roquefort transforming is exactly what i was doing too

I LOVE the intro so much

Yeah the musical tells are just so much easier on the non streamer mode track of this fight. Deeper beat.

I've literally never heard of this game, ever...
I've played P5 which has a similar artstyle, Kirby And The Forgotten Land which appears to have a similar fighting style, and Everhood which is a rhythm game
So I ask the RUclips Algorithm
What in the world are you doing...? Why have I not been recommended this at least, yet?
Is YT actually implementing RTGame's suggestion...? Because that's all I can think of for a reason that I haven't heard anything about what YT has got going on, unless they're making the platform worse- I digress
What even is this game
Devil May Cry meets Patapon
I love both Persona 5 and this game
Persona 5 meets every rhythm game where TV Spiderman is the main protagonist and TV Sonic is the bad guy
The suspiciously wealthy furry commissioner.
0:35 ) Bro sounding like a regular Mr. Krabs…
It's cool and all. But how did he crush the table when he didn't crush it in human form? I wouldn't question it if it was attached. But all the mechanical stuff came from inside him.
In his transformation, you can literally see the broken table. Hes standing on it in a giant mecha wolf cx I dont think it matters what wood that desk is made of
@@lizardboinatsu3540 I think what Op is asking is how ,with how heavy the equipment inside him is, is he able to not instantly break the table as he'd weigh roughly the same ammount given its all internals

Epic
This boss made me want a sequel or spinoff with electronic music sooo bad 😮
Since Microsoft shutdown the studio that made this game. If you haven't heard of it NSR aka No Straight Roads is another action rhythm game similar to this one, but with all the bosses being EDM music types and your player characters being Rock to combat them. Hi-Fi Rush was such a treat that a sequel definitely would be great (idk if that's possible now tho 🤔 but who knows maybe it could happen)
Huh. A true wolf of wallstreet!
The remix songs are so much better for the fights compared to the ost versions
Do you play on rhythm master, or why is beat faster than usual?
This was in Hard Mode but even in Rythm master the beat is always the same. Why do you think is odd?
@@frawbo maybe I was just tired at the moment I was watching video, so my mind perceived like it was faster.
The song is actually faster than the original! It's at 134 BPM, and the original is at 128 BPM
