I like listening to you not only for your skill set but the wisdom you impart! Most of these stories had nothing to do with clinical skill or theories, but more so your intuition, wisdom and understanding of what drives human behaviour. Beautiful lessons! Thank you!
Your ability to comprehend clients' situation and come up with orginal solutions is very impressive. Thank you for sharing with us.
Thanks for the video! I would love to play a "beat depression" game!
I used google to some learn some new terms:
A "Zimmer frame" is a UK term for a "Walker".
"Sycophantically" means using flattery to get what you want.
Fantastic, what a wonderful heart warming story.
Another inspiring lesson here. Thank you for sharing your insights. This is the place therapists can come to for motivation.
Very insightful, effective and practical. Thanks Dr Tyrell.
Great ideas, thank you.
Thank you so much for your helpful videos and explanations, I am passing on some of the ideas to someone who needs much help but gets very little, just pills and more pills.
Very insightful and helpful

7:40 Appeal to their point of PRINCIPLE
9:50 Appeal to their area of EXPERTISE
So useful, thanks Mark. Do you do many talks/training opportunities in Kent? I’d be very interested.
If the person's point of pride, goals and identity appears to be tightly based around 1 thing for example a sport and they can no longer do that sport due to injury what could be done to find new things to motivate them ?
There feel they have nothing to live for and don't deserve to have anything nice or positive.
maybe used some other emotional drivers behind their enjoyment of sports? for example, maybe they like being competitive, or being challenged, or setting milestones and reaching them, all of which can be done in other domains beside sports
Thank you for this video! so well done! I can't wait to try that with my cts that like video games :)
Thank you
Awesome.
OMG counter transference is happening to me with this video as exactly the same thing happened to my own mom 🥲
