SOLO Winter Camping with Tarp - First Snowstorm of the Season

- With the first snowstorm of the season in the forecast, I head out to the woods for my first time winter camping alone. Calling for 18cm of snow with a low of only -3°C, a mild but snowy night was looking promising. I managed to cook up some salmon, asparagus and potatoes in a single pan, and got enough snow to justify using my brand new snowshoes on my 4km hike out. All in all, these several new experiences made for a great time!

Have you looked into the rechargeable lithium Triple A batteries for your headset?? They're more expensive up front but they last for like a 1000 charges and are rechargeable with the USB C Jack

Instead of buying an insulated mug you can just make a cozy for your cup.
I had thought of this as well. And while it's feasible, the handles on the mug means the coozy would have to be properly shaped to accommodate them. I'm not sure it's a hassle I want to have to deal with.
@@MukOutdoors It's not really a hassle you just do a little bit cut out for it and it fits around it just fine. So far I've done it on 4 different cups and 3 different pots Using an old sunshade cover.
