    This video is amazing. I have been playing Starcraft 2 since it's release and this is the most inclusive, to the point video I have seen about everything you need outside of the game. Seriously great job. Keep it up!

    thx for that. strangely enough "auto-repeat delay" and "auto repeat rate" values were already set to "0" in my regedit settings for the keyboard.

    Many cool tipps! a few small recommendation would be to go a little bit more into detail when it comes to mouses and dpi's, since you touched a few subjects, like removing mouse acceleration and that these days it is even ok to use a wireless mouse in the highest competitive levels, but a few mentions of a few other mouse-based informations like not having a too high dpi, grip styles and 1-2 additional mouse recommendations would be appreciated, because someone who is really new to the competitive e-sport scene might get the wrong impression, that you need the logitech g-pro wireless under any circumstance.

      We did a video going alot more depth into DPI here: ruclips.net/video/Q5mwXtfLGZQ/видео.html
      Logitech G-Pro (wired version) which I mentioned is a very common mouse among pro players, but the fact that Serral is using a wireless version was something wanted to emphasize. But you're right that wireless isn't the default.
      talking about grip styles is a good idea for another guide to explore.

    "Show alerts" should be disabled! Otherwise you will click them while you are microing and it will move your screen to somewhere else.

    Really helpfull video! You might choose to include references to The Core (Light in my case as I play on a laptop) and the hybrid settings - that's the stuff I could find before finding this video. Great to have the pro footage in the vid as well! (as you can see I have troubles typing without double spaces atm ^^)

    • @ESChamp
      @ESChamp  2 года назад +1

      We focused mainly on what Pros were using at the time. Personally, I use The Core light but very few pros use the Core (much to my sadness), they just use standard and modify it. It's been less and less necessary over the years to go full-on hybrid settings, many times the modification doesn't translate over when you go play on LAN so a lot of pros will just keep settings equal to something that will carry over in the B.net account when they change PCs, but for sure hybrid still of use if you want to set it up!

    • @ESChamp
      @ESChamp  2 года назад

      rapid fire lets you spam a key for an ability, building or unit in quick succession, think fast warp-in

    why mouse sens 51%? how does that eliminate pixel skipping or frame drops? wouldn't it be better to disable mouse sensitivity and then it just uses the windows setting?

    • @ESChamp
      @ESChamp  2 года назад

      I go into more depth about it here in this video: ruclips.net/video/Q5mwXtfLGZQ/видео.html
      but the frame drops & pixel skipping come from how StarCraft interacts with windows and the math its uses. 51% works out so it doesn't interfere with your mouse pointer. Yes, you can disable mouse sensitivity from StarCraft and just let windows handle it, but enabling is useful that if you change machines for say a LAN event and you forget to check the windows settings you're covered as it overwrites window's settings. It's just a failsafe. If you want to increase or lower your sensitivity it should be done through your mouse's DPI settings.

      The other evga took out a 8000hz mouse (x17) and a 4000hz keyboard (z15), will it help to optimize the game?, regards

    man this confused the hell out of me? "you may have noticed all pros play on low" then he goes on "change it to medium", remove post processing? lol... brother... if you dont know what you doing, dont do it :)
    Is post-processing good for FPS?
    Post processing is the most effective single setting in that respect, and its effect on the game isn't as noticeable as you might think.
