Ten Hag's tactical acumen is something that must be appreciated. Initially, Luke Shaw looked like he was completely out of the team, only to become one of the most important pieces of the puzzle. Eriksen's importance to the team also has been clear for all to see, he brings control to the midfield that we haven't seen since Michael Carrick's prime days. As a United fan, I hope this can lead to greater things for us. As always, your analysis has been spot on👏🏽

True Man Utd fans will back Ten Haag even though they will never forget about what CR7 service. After so many years of questionable superstar commercial signings under woodward, questionable manager appointments we seem to be finally putting some structure in place and following what a modern club should look like. It was late but at least it starts now. Ten Haag may not be a Guardiola or Ferguson at the moment but everyone did start somewhere and truthfully from what we saw of his style it very much sticks to Man utd as we know during their better years. This incident hopefully makes him a better manager. People seem to forget that the managers who are successful each started somewhere and were not afraid to drop big name players irrespective of their past. Pep with ronaldhino in his early career. Ferguson did the same with Keane, Beckham nistelroy albeit he was already the main man by the time. The most comparable one is Arteta to Ozil and auba. If Arteta and ten Haag both go to achieve success even a small fraction of what pep has done we will eventually forget about these - and it seems for Arteta at least he is on the roght path. Hopefully ten Haag comes out a stronger manager and leader throughout this.

ETH is exactly the manager we need. 3 years tops and we will challenge for the title.
His tactics are unquestionable. His ability to instill discipline within the squad has been brilliant so far. Hes also shown players that if your dont give your blood sweat and tears on the pitch, you will be dropped. I dont care that the club bought you for 72 million or 80mn. Not my problem. Sancho, Maguire. Hes improving players gradually and incrementally. Something we lacked a lot under OGS. There were no tactics. "Just go out there and enjoy yourself lads". Basic tactics. Sit deep and hit teams on the counterattack. Not anymore. ETH is forcing them to learn and think about football again.
The players who've been selected for the world cup are beginning to enjoy playing for their countries again. The last 18 months have been hell for most of them. Not only did they not perfom well for ManUnited, they also got found out tactically when they went to international duty. So much so that Southgate dropped Sancho & Rashford mid 2022.
This is a great video. I liked it. Especially the part about Luke Shaw and Dalot. Eriksen role as well. Now I can tell people about my clubs tactics finally😀. Kudos to you

I wouldn't say that we are a great team, we do have good players with huge potential but I'm just glad that we have a modern manager with modern tactics and thinking, even with the lack of facilities and the lack of technical players, he's tried to shoe horn some tactical discipline and possession football into them, we still are very much a counter attacking team but it's better now because we can have phases of play where we can pass out of a press and actually keep possession and build up play, I hope he has success because there's no one else after him

Erik has done things that Rangnick failed to do. Ralf tried to force his style and backed off and kept the team on counter and actively slashed players in the press. Openly saying he needed another 11. Accepting defeat at creating his project. Erik has come in and actively enforced that everyone has a chance to be in the new system. Cleverly has transformed some players and phased some out. Unfortunately this did include CR7 which is tragic. But clearly CR7 does not fit his system and will be moved on. All the best for him. But you can clearly see the transformation Erik wants to be. With full backing I really do think he will transform United. He is one of those managers who is driven and has a clear philosophy. Seems to earn the respect of all the players too. Well except one.

But kudos to EtH for understanding they weren’t ready for his system and for realizing the strengths of his players, like the speedy Rashford. He was made for counterattacks. De Gea, who has improved his passing, now has the option of progressing through the back 4 or playing it long, while still being the great shot stopper he always has been. Casemiro has been a revelation in stopping teams playing through United and leaving Ericksson n Bruno to play the ball forward, leaving Uniteds wingers n front man to press the opposition when they tried to move forward our back line has been fabulous seeing as Martinez and Varane has only been playing together very recently, we've also accessed the LB n RB's to push forward giving us opportunities to overlap and our Defence has been able to break the lines and its been refreshing to see the speed of the movement of the Ball utilising the space made by other players off the ball running...but the most impressive thing to me has been the Team togetherness it's High fives for defending, I really think Ten Hag is only a few players away from competing at The Top again, with the bringing through of some of our FA Youth Cup winning side..

The addition of Martinez has worked wonders at the other end of the pitch. I wonder will we see Savage/Iqbal groomed as the understudy for the base of midfield?
So maybe the next piece is personnel?
Feels like United need a first choice striker to rotate with Martial, cover for Dalot (and base of midfield) and maybe another cb?
I know it's unheard of but maybe sell Jones for 30-40m and keep paying half his wages? hat and CR7 leaving bring the wage bill down. Think Maguire and AWB could be sold normally and subsidize the 3 incoming

To be very honest, I don't see any real improvements on how Man Utd perform on the pitch. They have made good signings yes. The signings have improved them. Martinez, Casemiro, Eriksen and Antony are huge improvements on their previous squad. But apart from the improvement in squad quality, there is no improvement in how they play. It's still mostly counter attacks and their inability to create big chances against sides that sit back.
Ten Hag's structure is very basic, Utd struggle to keep possession and build up, they struggle to dominate territory allowing other sides to dominate them instead. Those games against Leicester, Newcastle and recently against West Ham and Aston Villa were all evidence.
Utd may improve in a few years but to say we have already shown improvement in those parameters in untrue. Still a long long way to go before we become consistent.

As a Red Devils i'm happy af since he arrived. He know what he's doing. When he arrive MAN UTD is a completely trash team with no coordinate, in other simple words are that they play football without any strategy or the strategy itself didnt apply to each player. But when ETH arrives, first he fixed the Defense because at that time MAN UTD's defense is a complete 4-times a month weekend Football Comedy. Imagine the underperformed Lindelof and the GOAT Mag. 😂 Yea ETH fixed that with Varane and Martinez who really top class. Martinez has to be mentioned, he seems like the ones who brought back the energy MAN UTD needed back so much, the spirit of the badge. It's not just some club, it's MAN UTD. A legendary English FC. Then comes a top class CDM to adds up a strong based Defense across the field. And the guy was Casemiro, very very performed and execute his work perfectly. Since then, Man Utd doesn't play like a school boys anymore. The team's passes, movements and build up attacks are becoming more and more coordinated and their chemistry with each other becoming better. Then comes in Antony to build up extra force on the RW. With Antony, ETH already built the plan to fix the Attacking of the team since the Defense already quite strong already. Then the development of Antony is quite complicated, not just like all other people saying he's flop or what. Professional footballer can't just play based on how they wants to play, cause it's the manager's decision of how each player has to play, or develop. Each player has their own quality so that overall in the team is strong. Antony was not bad but not very good as well considering his price, but that doesnt matter cause what matters is he is a team player. Then comes the important of Wan Bissaka, to be side by side with Antony. They both have to be like best friend on the field because ETH's tactical formation. AWB will be play up front on the left field (advantage cause it became extra player on the field), it will be shaped 3-1-6 formation when the team controls the possession. On the LW we have Rashy who his best position is on LW, as well as Garnacho. So doesn't have to bother LW. As for LCM, ETH just got us an overall having quality in ball control, can hold the ball and dribble into empty spaces right front, and also can scores. That is Mason Mount's resposibility i believe and i'm sure he's fit for the task. A ST, yeah sure we haven't had top quality and reliable striker since RvP. But first has to fix the GK, so yeah right now Onana already arrived. Onana's arrival really really the most important here cause he will secure from the backline, has the footwork and ball control ability as well as accurate passes. He completes the formation but not yet finished the whole plan. It's then striker's turn to fill in. Today, right now we just got Hojlund. Not hyping but this kid is really the last piece of what Man Utd missing right now. A striker who has ability to link up with teammates, very good physically and he also understand the assignment of how he wants to play. He won't be like Haaland, Haaland is a more to physical and goal poacher mastered. Hojlund's gonna be different than him. Hojlund's gonna be a ST who drop down a bit and plays the ball, llinks up the play, running inside empty spaces, and the most important thing is to become the ONLY best finisher in Man Utd and that last one gonna be hard for him knowing his team relies so much on him to bag in the goal since the whole squad doesnt have a really clinical and reliable finisher. Rashford aint no striker. Hojlund, his playing style suits ETH's really well. So right now let's just hope he delivers the job handsomely and then again we might have a chance to see a new Generation of Man Utd who might as well be a top team who at their own time, every other team fears of them. Cause right now Man Utd squad looks young overall and lets hope not much injuries occur. Right now Sofyan's in radar. He's perfect for Man Utd as Man Utd's Defense's based on somehow physically. Right now all of our backs have strong physical. With the arrival of Sofyan it's gonna be a fortress. Thank you ETH!! We understand you, and you knew the assignment really well you did it perfectly step by step! Massive Respect ETH, AND THANK YOU!! ❤❤❤

Dear football fans, if you've not watched the full Cristiano Ronaldo interview, don't bother wasting your time on it. Ronaldo gives a lopsided account mixed in with half-truths and obvious truths which Manchester United fans already know. The entire interview is about both parties stroking each other's ego, especially Ronaldo's, with Piers Morgan fawning excessively over him with all the absence of journalistic integrity that he used to grill the likes of Meghan Markle's racism accusation against the Royal Family (as called out by Simon Jordan on Talksport).
Ronaldo isn't being brave here, yet many Ronaldo fanboys and non-MU fans are easily manipulated and falling for an interview that is bizarre to say the least. This interview isn't about his desire to call out the Glazers, nor is it about his love for the club, or constructive criticism about the facilities. It's simply about Ronaldo not being able to accept the reality that he is in the twilight of his career, he's lost a yard of pace, his first touch and finishing is starting to go (and it doesn't help that he had to miss pre-season though it's for a compassionate reason), and above all that the team is playing far better without him and that consequently his role is reduced to that of a squad player having to support from the sidelines. It's funny how a player like Zlatan Ibrahimovic is much more of a supportive team player in spite of his arrogant reputation, seeing as how he often rallies his Milan teammates behind the scenes as they won the Seria A last season.
From a MU fan's perspective I think Ronaldo's true intention for this is simply to burn all his bridges in order to force his way out of the club, highly ironically unprofessional for someone who has always prided himself on 'professionalism' and being an 'example' for others. It's sad that it has to end like this, but it is a win-win for all parties if he moves on.

I don't know about you, whether you joined United support to hate on the guy or if you're genuine, I'm happy this man had the balls to talk.

Ole's mistake is that he dropped all the progress he has made in the past to fit in Ronaldo in his team, he brought sancho, varane, and managed to get the most out of pogba fernandes, McFred and fullbacks like shaw and wan bissaka. the team had a great start by smashing leeds 5-1 in the 2021/2022 season opening, then ronaldo came in, forcing the entire squad to play around him, and that sets back all the progress Ole has made as ronaldo clearly doesnt fit Ole's style of play

Malacia never played for Ajax. He played for Feyenoord, but that is only side note. I think ten Hag is a manager who likes to think in attractive and offensive football. When you revieuw his Champions League matches, and then in the semi final Ajax has played against Tottenham Hotspurs, you will see the negatives on this way of football. His style is very attractive, but defensively there has to be a lot of improving to do. You can't lose a match with a 2-0 lead. That is not done.
I think ten Hag is a decent manager, but far from the top. Manchester United will not win titles with ten Hag. ten Hag is way to offensive for that. I would like to name it as being a bit of a one-trick-pony. My prediction is that he will be sacked in about 2 seasons, or that his contract will not be extended.
You can play attractive, but you have to know how and when you have to defend.

@@mesachkatabz597 some situations can be handled with ten Hag 's way of play. Not all. a Perfect example is the match against Manchester City. Yeah, you are right when you say, " but that squad wasn't a complete squad, assembled by ten Hag!". Yes definitely, and I certainly do agree on that. But Ajax was a fully rebuild squad, but on the day of the Champions League semi final these players were way to offensively minded. At first there was a good feeling about it, but in hindsight, playing the same way, give the opponent the opportunity to counter that play. Tottenham backthen won by some tiny tactical changes in their play style. If ten Hag would have been smart he would have lined up a more counterattacking side. That is what I mean. You have to have a plan A, B and in this case C otherwise you will not win International well known trophies.
