      Awesome video! Not related, but can you make a video about toe health and ways to fix toe pain? I’ve recently started experiencing a lot of big toe pain even though I’ve been climbing for many years

    Thanks so much for including my video in your analysis! This is so interesting and makes so much sense as I've recently been dealing with chronic runner's knee and after going to a sport's medicine doc he told me that I had overdeveloped and tight quads and weak glutes in comparison and he recommended stretching the quad and strengthening the glutes. These drills with be so helpful for both my climbing and my runners knee!

    As a shitty climber coming from a small amount of ballet experience all of the training that ballet does in the turned out position seems to carry over extremely well to the drills mentioned for climb #2. Maybe cross training ballet would be a more fun way of developing strong jumps in the turned out position?

      I’d love to!
      Ballet has good carryover for a lot of sports, but I’ve found it difficult to find consistently good teachers / people able and willing to teach non-beginners in other sports.
      Any recommendations would be awesome!

      I do this! Beginner in both ballet and climbing and dabble in various other sports and training methods, but what I love the most is discovering transferable skills and using them to get better across the board. Glad you’ve mentioned it!

    Hey great video. I think it really helps understand the mechanism of dynoing. I am robotics engineering so been thinking of the mechanics of this but never made sense in my head.

    Very interesting to track the progress of Jason's hairstyles throughout the videos. As a suggestion I think you should put together a progression videos of Jason's hair. kind of a "through the years" type video. Would be fascinating to track the progression. Meanwhile Dan is very consistent.

      @@HoopersBeta it was very creative! It was good! But it is still skippable, because it is a standalone part of the video. Mr Beast talks about ads integration on the Lex Friedman podcast (available on RUclips). I hope it can elevate your content even higher!

      @@HoopersBeta I preferred this one. It was amusing enough that I actually watched it, (probably the first time I've ever watched an ad on a climbing channel) but I could still skip it if I really wanted. So that seems like the perfect balance to me.
      Despite what the person below says, if they were "integrated" I'd likely just drop any channel that does that because I'd never know what's real or what's paid for.

    Can i climb with an interpalmar ligament injury. Theres never been pain. I just noticed something weird one day and its been inflamed inbetween the ring and pinky in the palm just under the knuckle

    Great content, because in climbing you allways can improve your technique, no matter how long you climb.
    Which app would you suggest to analyse moves? E.g. For slow motion, split view, painting arrows …?

    my pet peeve of climbing videos is when the camera person doesnt show the hold that is being reached for. its just so frustrating to not be able to see where the climber is trying to get to.

    I think people do not blame wingspan but the fact that for the exact same hold you have to overthink what do to better and compensate that you have a shorter wingspan than other people.
    therefore making much effort for the same result, which can be kind of boring
