I was on an airplane flight from Chicago to Los Angeles with a group of guys from the Australian Army pipe band. Omg, I live in Bolton, about 5 years ago me and my mates where on a train coming back from a night out in Manchester and two Scottish guys boarded the train at Salford in full kilt and bagpipes, they played a few numbers including the Scottish national anthem and everyone on the train sung it on full note, madness a bunch of pissed up English singing flower of Scotland, it won't happen again I can tell you, if you happen to know the two guys tell them thanks for creating a wonderful memory that will stay with me forever...

I was in a bar in manhatten,new york a few years ago following the tunnel to towers run and the FDNY emerald society arrived in ther full tartan and piped a few songs, and everyone in the bar went wild, we were all very drunk and that finished the night off a treat.Good memories

In the Bicentennial Year, the Black Watch came to town. My brother promoted a get-together between our group and a few of Scottish fellows. My fondest memories are a sterling 42nd Regimental button from a tunic, and that those lads could really drink.
