I grew up in Southest Texas. North of Port Arthur. KCS built that town, it's named for their founder Arthur Stillwell. KCS engins are called belles as in Southern Belles.
And NS (and her many Buddies) come in and out of Chicago everyday heading towards Atlanta and points south! A Great Video, Thank You so much for posting it!
As an "Atlanta native" I can verify there are TONS of great railfanning spots in and around the city. From the busy Inman and Howell yards in Atlanta to some amazing scenic chases in the more rural parts of our state.
And I realize I’ve only just scratched the surface with my video! I can’t wait to discover what other railroad treasures can be found in Atlanta on future trips!
I found a parking lot on Google maps! Its the Chemistry Advertising Agency Parking lot. It’s a wonderful spot, but only go on the weekends. They don’t like strangers showing up during work hours.
Not to mention your spirited delivery!
