I'll be here the end of April! That is a coal train I've seen here locally on the Black Hills Subdivision! It's a BTM(black thunder mine) to Scherer Generating somewhere in Georgia! That train is normally 130+cars due to the mid helpers! You can figure out the destination by the reporting marks on the sides of the coal cars

@@RailroadRamblings I Railfan in Attalla, AL were NS And the Alabama Tennessee River [ATN] shortline cross in Attalla. About 8 to 9 trains pass on NS and about 2 pass on ATN

Most of the coal trains are heading to Georgia Power’s Robert W. Scherer power plant in Juliette, Georgia.
